Have you considered the CLifford alarm systems? I think this was what Sanj (Mr Lex) has. It does auto closure of Windows, mirrors, sunroof. He also has the remote start option as well (very cool!) D.

Yeah, as Marcus said, the pics dont look toooo bad. Have seen a lot worse. As long as there's no hidden structural damage, then it shouldn't be a write off or anything. Glad you're OK though mate. Must have been such a shock! D.

Have you conisdered it may be the alternator playing up? On some cars there will be some sort of warning light on the dash to say this, but I'm not sure about the Windom, and if it is likely to fail at such a young age anyway! D.

It's such a huge shame, and massive annoyance to read that these sort of things happen to people. I cant really say anything that hasn't been said before, but I do hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. :luck: The most i've had to be annoyed about was a small dent in the passenger door when someone obviously opened their door into it in a car park. :yack: D.

Yo. For the Lexus gurus, I got my 02 Reg IS from a Lexus dealer, and have noticed that some people have put that the tripple jet windscreen washers was a mod-add-on. Mine currently has the triple jets, and was wondering if these were a mod installed before I got the car A recent loan car I had (54 reg) had the blade style, which I think are quite cool! B) Ta. D.

Same here mate, but i've been chatting to Lex Croydon, and they said they will try a "Customer Relations" claim... basically a form of goodwill warranty claim. Will let ya know outcome... D.

LOL! Fair enough man. Just that there's sooo many factors into working out MPG manually (I mean, I try to do it). But say cruising at 60 compared with 70 uses something like 30% more fuel (not sure on exact values, but it is very significant from what I remember), many posts regarding Shell Optimax, BP Ultimate etc. There's plenty of info about factors that affect fuel economy such as here, here, here and here Not offcially read/heard anywhere to say performance mods = better fuel economy, but a bit of logical thinking suggests it would (e.g. more power for same revs etc.) I'll see as well then when I get my Prolex IK! BTW, what rate comission U getting from ProLex? :winky: D.

TBH, I do think some of it is psychological - its difficult to really calculate MPG without a proper onboard trip computer. :mat: And it does make a big difference on the split of motorway cruising, and town driving. MY trip up and down to JAE from Mitcham was very economical (not filled back up yet to calculate "exact" MPG, but have done 200 miles on half a tank...) Just worth bearing in mind. ;) D.

Mainly cosmetic and gadget type mods... No performance ones as yet :winky:
