I'm often thinking about these circumstances... "Maybe have pen and paper ready to write the number plate down"... Not always practical :duh: "Maybe phone someone to take down the number whilst you give chase"... may not have handsfree, or person/persons number not instantly available "Phone the police"... dunno about this one... "Take out your camera phone and get a picture of the car/plate"... Phone cameras are generally rubbish - especially for moving images "Save a voice tag or sumit into your MP3 player or mobile"... stumbling through menus can be a pain What can one do

I'm like Software support. ← I work 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights.i hate days to many bosses about :tsktsk: .nights is ok though :D NO BOSSES ← Yeah I agree - there's like 1 other person in the whole office (which consists of 2 floors capcity of 150 like). Freedom (Subject to any monitoring of websites we visit... :mat: )

Morning, Any living creature out there have to do shift work in their job? I'm on the night shift this week, "working" a friendly midnight till 8 am. Just wondered if anyone fancies a chat or sumit... MSN or here... D.

I've got a iPac Bluetooth Tom Tom Sat Nav, as well as the Lex's own Sat Nav (not that I use both at the same time!!!) :P Like people say, its a mission reading a printed "AutoRoute" or Multimap jobbo whilst driving. Its much easier and safer listening to instructions. I think one of the main benefits is finding alternative routes when you're stuck in a traffic jam - Either look at any parallel roads on the display, or just take a random turn off and see what the Sat Nav says. :) :zee:

Yup yup yup :D Very good price taking into account the milleage. Parkers gives you a rough idea - it expects 20k on the clock for this one at this sort of price. Make sure you do get it checked though (should be OK if the log book is stamped each year by a Lexus dealer with the milleage on it). Might be worth doing th HPi check as well. (I did for a private seller - and it turned out the car was clocked! Didn't bother for a Lexus dealer though). :shutit: g0g0g0! And join da club! B) -

Bloomin hackers! I get e-mails from work saying its from our Network administrators and that we haven't been using our e-mail for work purposes, but simply have a virus attachment as the "disclosure" doc. Don't think its too hard to appear to be sending an e-mail from someone elses behalf...

Luckily I get mine re-imbursed by my work. But yeah, weekdays, from 7am to 6:30pm, excluding official UK pulic bank holidays. You got till 10pm on that day to pay it (or pay in advance), between 10 and midnight, it goes up to a tenner. After that, your :tsktsk:

Usually always the person who goes into the back of you's fault. Should be straight forwards. :) Had someone reverse into me at the lights before - she was reversing back from a yellow box junction when the lights changed and didn't look behind her! No damage that time luckily though. :duh: -

I got the iPac 4150 + Bluetooth Tom Tom 3 set up, and its fine. Like ricky_is200 said, you can add a speed camera database (its added as a POI - Point Of Interest). These obviously need to be kept up to date. There are many other POIs that can be added easily (red light camera DB, Mc Donalds etc. The list goes on!) It doesn't take long for a satellite log-on, and re-routes pretty much instantly if you miss a direction. Plus you got the added bonus of a PDA. Incidently, I may be selling my setup (seeing though I got Sat Nav built into the car now...) PM me if interested. D.
