  1. The problem with that is?, it will be reliable! There might be that, but I use outlook for everything (as do most businesses) - without it, a device like this is a bit useless Its got edge so internet will be fine but it wont do video calls, Do you want to spend 50per min to make a vid call? Edge isn't as quick as 3G, and not even sure we have it over here? Plus with most people moving over to HSDPA now (Motorola Maxx, etc) seems like a step in the wrong direction Oh dear, if its reliable you wont have to pull the plug on it it like ALL MS products Apple doesn't have the best reputation with batteries - but let's see on this one surely it will have bluetooth and a data cable so either or! If you have wifi, its the easiest way to send music from pc to phone, so no idea why they wouldn't give it that functionality - I thought this thing was supposed to be revolutionary! Yes we have Edge technology....it uses the normal 2.5g network and its more like a suped up GPRS connection and is more widely available than 3g coverage as this is a different network altogether. Apple don't make the batteries......SONY does. This is no secret and SONY have had to recall thousands of batteries from Dell laptops, there own laptops and other branded laptops. Again, never have I been asked if a handset does WiFi.... "So Kaz, does a handset do wi-fi?" :winky: TBH, I kinda think its just another phone... just made by Apple. All phones play music, videos, caller picture ID etc. Not many phones are touch screen. At least all other mobiles you can change the battery! D
  2. Totally agree with ya! Top notch classics. D. Another wh00t classic... Or Biohazard as it was known overseas.
  3. Linky :D :D :D Look forward to seeing this in the metal at work! D. B)
  4. Yup. They even got their own curtains! Do you get a staff discount? I think it would suit me! I do as a matter of fact... :D This one yeah, but the "base" model starts at £57k on the road. TBH, I do feel it is still very much an old mans car. And its MASSIVE!
  5. Got one of these sitting in the foyer at work (as well as a Toyota Auris). Start saving up! Try this link... Or just enjoy! The V8 The 245/45R19 Rear Quarter The coolbox! Rear centre console controls Rear centre console! Centre console Streering wheel Centre console AV input Overhead console controls Centre console again Front of car (and my work colleague!) Front quarter of car (and my work colleague again) D. B)
  6. Hope the op goes well. Good luck to you Janey! D
  7. Some card readers do not support "very large" (as in storage size) solid state devices (such as an SD card, mini SD, MMC, blah blah). They tend to corrupt any data on them even if you did manage to format it. My bet is your card reader is a bit old - possibly only USB 1.1. Try the card either in a phone etc or try a newer more recent card reader. USB 2.0 should generally insure this. D.
  8. Bit late, but Merry Christmas LOC non-the-less :D :luck: :hohoho: Hope you all got what you wanted! My LS460 hasn't arrived yet though :( Maybe I haven't been good this year!
  9. Should be nice and quiet though :o Not worth taking it out of your holiday allowance...
  10. Just thought i'd let you know i'll be off falling down mountains laiden with snow tomorrow :duh: Should be fun. Over a dozen people going. Got a whole chalet with sauna/jacuzzi in case it gets too cold/not cold enough-no snow! Staying here Anyone been/go regularly? Only main bummer at the moment is the 5am check in tomorrow!!! Have a good Christmas as well y'all! D. :luck: :hohoho: :luck:
  11. How old young is he now? :P Have agood day Pete! D.
  12. Come round to my work if you want to see some. The top exec's already driving around in these babies. They look massive! But look pretty mean and fast thanks to the integrated exhausts. Also some Aurius' kicking about as well. D.
  13. Hi and welcome to LOC! Mine's currently for sale if interested :o
  14. Not sure i've seen my MPG start with a 2... 19 ish for me so far... 600 odd miles on the clock. Remember it resets on every re-fuel - not remembered for the life of the car (such as in the new IS). D.
  15. I guess it will still be quite an expensive car... Maybe consider it as part of the serious haggling process. There are companies that fix these kind of blemishes etc. Might be worth getting a quote first for its repair (although as rair a black on black SC is, I doubt its everyday there are people shopping around for an SC)... D.
  16. Folks it's easier to whinge because you're complaining and usually have a point to make. Those of us that have nothing to complain about usually don't feel the need to let peeps know, apart from a certain person on the forum whose posts covered both and swung from elation to despair on a regular basis. Totally agree. D.
  17. Diddly squat, I didn't even manage to get over 75mph! And i'd hope not! Not on a public motorway in the UK... D. :winky:
  18. Hi and Welcome! Myself, i'm from down south! D.
  19. Cheers peeps. FYI a single 18" styling alloy weighs just over 11Kg depending on how your weighing scales feel :) This equate to £12.46 according to Mr R Mail.
  20. Nice car, but it would be easier to see if you could get the longer side of each picture down to 1000 pixels or less . . . . . :) Too right! Need a bigger screen :duh: At least U caught the thief trying to steel your shopping! D.
