  1. Unfortunately my fix of resetting the ECU wiped the fault code log. i'm pretty sure you can still get at the codes until reset by an OBD2 reader, i'm almost 100% sure that i've reset error codes (by pulling fuses) and TDi have still been able to look at them using their reader
  2. haven't read any of them but had to leave work at lunch, buy the book (£20.00) and take home for my girlfriend since she's been waiting ages for this to come out - she's got all 7 now - all in hardback since she wants them when they first come out. £140.00 on books - could've had some nice car stuff for that
  3. Which dealer was that? When I asked if there was full leather available, they said buy an IS300! Lexus ParkLane - I ordered the car new back in August 99, delivered October 99 so it was a long time ago.
  4. Yep, I ordered it as an option when I bought the car, so Lexus sent it off to Connoly who did the full leather before it was delivered.
  5. Pipe on the front is nitrous purge spraying onto the intercooler. "If I can get mine anywhere near the state of yours I'll be a happy man!" - you wouldn't say that if you could look closely and see all the little bumps and scratches on the bodywork...!
  6. doesn't generally get more than 3 people in it so not a problem... moving the tank to the boot though soon so problem will go away

  9. Maz, I'm making one myself out of carbon fibre - will post pics when its done (if its any good)
  10. I'm going to be in the area next weekend so look for another granite sky IS. Can't miss it....
  11. Black circle seemed really over priced to me, try www.mytyres.co.uk
  12. parcel force are the worst service around. i got charged 25.76 for an $80 item. thats outrageous.. use Fedex or the like. Fedex will ship the item and then invoice you. parcel farce won't deliver it until you pay....trying to get hold of them is impossible - the phone is always engaged. my option of parcel force :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:
  13. That would be Alex (Ukazn), wheels are Chrome Vaults (18"), not sure who does the carbon bonnet. Exhaust was by PowerFlow.
  14. Just thought we should give a big thumbs up to Dave & ProLex :D , seems like we've finally got a company in Europe that is creating new products at sensible prices for the Lexus range - something the US has had for quite some time. Anyway, big thanks to Dave & ProLex, I sense some serious wallet bashing coming with all these new products!
  15. Are you going to donny south this weekend? I sense some 0-60 competitions......
  16. Time to get rid of the big TDi spray on the intercooler. I got stopped by the police once and they were convinced it was a turbo diesel due to the TDi badges on the side.
  17. which company did the install for you? it would be useful for a lot of members to know so they don't have similar problems.
  18. 3 sisters too far for me i'm afraid, just looked at the map! will keep an eye on thread to see final choice of destination.
  19. was it possible to trim the extra material and get something ok or was it just too much of a problem to do this?
  20. Nope, its an aftermarket part for the IS300. Its a bit like the CWest bumper but different.
  21. Quick question, will a non-standard US IS300 front bumper fit an IS200?
  22. Dark you puting your IS in? yep, hope so. will see what comes back from the entry form. before the date i need to: 1. redo install 2. trim in alcantara 3. finish nitrous install 4. add neons 5. build engine cover 6. redo lights 7. new wheels (maybe) 8. new mirrors 9. clean! plus any other ideas.....
