The rear lights have been taken apart and painted. You can buy the rear Halo rings on the AAC website for the fogs and tails. The light strip at the bottom around the light is just a neon tube.

That was for the set up in those pics though. I didn't hang about to find out about the normal projector price as by that time i dropped the phone! Lol!! And yes Ormi mate another 1k and you got yourself a Supercharged IS...hmm. Lights or Supercharger?

Same as Parthiban. I am looking into a retrofit projector and also spoke to AAC wo are responsible for that conversion. Its the best part of 1k which is silly for lights. Also I would be scared driving around with lights that expensive. For show cars only i think. Like parthiban says though, they can do a normal projector conversion but it gets expensive when you start adding on shipping costs etc. Apparently its rather easy to do. Hmm. Wasn't Patrik from Sweden doing his own conversion? As for the lights on ebay. They're not very good quality at all. A few members have had them on here. Besides they are IS300 fitment so fitting isn't straight forward. And only one company i know supposedly sell they for RHD models. Maybe if we did a group buy on the AAC projectors the price wouldn't be so bad? There are always members asking about this.

So the bulbs i need for the front indicator would be 7440 right?

Researching this for a long time myself. I've noticed Tein are very popular. But if they're the best i don't know. Sound good with the EDFC though.

That poor guy. I hate to hear stories like that, but it is just a total rip off isn't it. I just lve the fact that you can buy a brand new Clio for less than what he is paying! Crazy. And it really isn't a good car or spec is it. I couldn't read anymore, i didn't know if i shoud've been laughing or crying! I might offer him a part-ex on my Lex, i'm sure he'd agree to pay me 5k and give me the car which i could then sell for 2k. After all as he said its only money! Lol!

Fifth Gear started last week. Great show! So who thinks what show is best? Fifth Gear or Top Gear?

I know this has probably been posted before and i have tried the search function but couldn't find the answer. I was just trying to order some LED bulbs from the US to try a mod/experiment but it gets a bit confusing. Are the front indicators 7440 or 581 or can be both or is that wrong?! Is it because the US have different codes to us in the UK? And is a 7443 the same only dual filament? Does that mean the stop/tail is the same bulb type as the front indicator? I'm confused and need conformation!! I've probably confused the hell out of you all now! Lol! Sorry!

Very nice mate. My opinion on the TRD lip is the same, always thought it looked quite bulky and clumsy, but done this way looks superb! Like a proper diffuser! Lol! I would leave it without the skirts, just my opinion though, think it looks smoother, cleaner. And it doesn't look bad with the 17's mate, depends what look you're after. I would like the rear TRD lip on mine done this way, but i doubt it'd have the same effect on a black car ! LOL!

I like it also! Although a shiny finish similar to black chrome would look trick! But the theme of dark/smoke lights would look great. Well done mate.

Each to thier own. I am forced to watch it as the other half is a fan. Its not awful but in reality i do question myself sometimes! Sitting there watching other people live...doing stupid things...but by the end of summer i will probably be addicted as the more you watch it the more you get to like and dislike the people in there. I think deep down Ellz is a big BIG fan! Don't be scared to admit it mate! LOL!!

Great thread! And like Wozza said superb attention to detail. I can't wait to see the finished car in colour! This bodyshop seem to know their stuff. Didn't think about the rear foglight thing though. And are side repeaters a legal requirement too? I mean if you smoothed them off would it make a difference come MoT time?

Ah right that makes sense, Asi. Logical. I also got (think by mistake) the instructions and mini TTE sticker for the little boot lip spoiler. Anyone else get this? Very handy though as i bought a lip spoiler off a member on here and it didn't have the TTE sticker! Result! I'm a happy chappy! Just gotta get it all fitted now! (Still searching for a TTE rear lip!!!)

Yes i agree it was a great find! Especially as i am just about to fit my TTE bumper. I was wondering where to buy these from and then they turned up on ebay. Great!! Glad some others on LOC have benefitted from the find! I recieved mine today after paying yesterday so a great ebay seller, there is no worries there. You get the complete kit, brand new. It also includes a great little TTE badge for the front of the bumper! So nice i don't want to put it on incase it goes missing! LOL! Did these bumpers come with those TTE gel stickers as mine currently has a Sport sticker on?!

I did tell 'her' i'm a member of LOC and that i'm sure there are many other members interested in a set. She is very friendly. Hope you all get a good deal (not better than me i hope! Lol! :) )

If its the front fogs you're on about i had the same problem. I eventually took them out the bumper and realised the backs and connections were rotten and in no state for repair. I had to purchase a new set.

Sorry i didn't update this thread Asi! I had to go away and was away from internet connection for a while. Anyway i missed the auction end for the TTE Grills. Was it anyone on here who snaped them up? I eventually bargained with the seller for set for £40 all inclusive which i was happy with :) So if anyone is interested in a complete set of Grills for the TTE bumper then email the seller.

Has anyone heard of Moonraker films? i recently got a few quotes to get my windows done (South East Area, but don't mind travelling) I asked out of curiousity if they had anything different from the normal plain black. One company told me about a Moonraker film one of which is Stainless Black. `Cloudy silver in daytime and black by night. Comes with different light transmitions too. Looks very good and similar to that of the Bentley's glass on the Flying Spur. Oh and i was quoted £250 for the whole car (2 day job?) http://www.nightshadetinting.co.uk/
