I was just wondering and hoping someone could recommend a top notch company. In or around the South East (Dagenham, Essex) I don't mind travelling a reasonable distance. I want to get my original 5 spokes refurbed to the original spec, sparkly silver with diamond cut faces. Most places I speak to either do not do diamond cutting, if they do the quote is ridiculous! I spoke to 'The Wheel Specialist' who do not do Diamond Cutting but advised their Chrome paint is just as good? Hmm, doubtful. For that finish they quotes £320. Wicked Wheels do do Diamond cutting, my quote...£95 per wheel +VAT!! No thank you!! So does anyone have any suggestions? They would greatly appreciated. The wheels are off car/no tyres.

Its a long process detailing your car but if done right, and more importantly in the right order with products that work together the effort is more than worth it! Incase you don't know of these sites, check out Clean Your Car or Detailing World. If you're into detailing you should have a good nose around these sites. You'll probably find that you will no longer want to use 'off the shelf' products again once you've seen some of the results of the products the guys use over there. Some people (especially my dad) think i'm mad when i spend a weekend cleaning my car! What they forget is I only do it every 6 months, before winter and after winter (April & October) At this point I wash (using 2 bucket method-never use a sponge) Pat dry (never use a chamois) Clay, correct, polish, glaze, seal, wax then dress the car. Also a good idea to get an AIO and give the arches and wheels a good clean off the car. Then use Bare Bones to treat all the hard work you've just put in. If you're after a wheel treatment mate try Chemical Guys Wheel Guard, can't recommend it enough. I also use Dodo Red Mist after every wash or so to keep my hard work topped up. Smells good enough to drink too!! Lol! Car looks mint though mate keep up the grafting! Its easy to let it slip especially after the new car novelty has worn off! Haha!

The late IS200's that had HID lights were only the LE spec.

Would it be an MoT fail to fit repeaters in your mirrors and then remove the wing repeaters completely?

Don't worry people. All new cars from next year will all have Daytime Running Lights. Alot of cars already have them. But then i guess the new problem will be that because people know they then have lights that automatically come on everytime they start their car, they won't bother awitching on lights at dusk. Therefore we'll probably come across more drivers with no tailights, as DRL are only lit at the front. I don't understand people that drive around without lights on or just put them on when its pitch black. People forget that lights aren't just for the benefit of the driver, but for others to see you too! Including pedestrians!

That does look awesome!! Original. With some L centres it would look neat. I've always loved those rims and also love the smooth euro look. What size are they and how about offset etc?

IMO too many badges look messy and cluttered. But each to their own. I hate it when i see 318's with M badges and beat up Mercs with AMG badges. But if you have a TRD kit then it'd make sense i guess. Like the F Sport badge but i won't ask what's already been asked umpteen times! (By the same person. Lol!)

As far as I know there are only 2 types of front fogs. Chrome and dark. I have a set of the darker ones which i also intend to fit to my 2001 IS. Unless they fitted a different colour to the Kodiak Sky LE?

Well i never have realised there are 2 different types of bump strips! Has anyone ever thought about taking theres off completely and filling/smoothing them?

Is there any info available on the 250 F-Sport, Parthiban? Is it just a package for the standard 250?

I know what you're saying about old stock ormi. Lexus Teeside were once selling TTE rear skirts on ebay for £55 or £65. I didn't buy one and missed out. Now i've been looking for one for ages. Could you get them cheap? They seem hard to find and i've been quoted over £180 from a dealer!

There is a walk through on the forum somewhere. Try the search function. But it involves putting your headlights in the oven, taking them apart removong the orange filter the resealing them. I have done it with a set of old headlights but i got the common headlight fog problem. So i changed them to the dark spec ones.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson. A massive loss to music. I have always been a big fan. I'm so very glad i went to see his Dangerous tour. On the child accusations. I don't think the US justice system leaves much out and justifies charges with the correct sentence. He was found innocent because he more than likely was. He was a very giving, gentle and kind person. If you're a parent tell me how much money would make it right for you to ignore your child has been abused and to settle out of court? In my opinion no amount of money would! Justice would be seeing the accused go to jail and get what sentence the judge saw fit. To accept money to forget it happened makes you just as bad as the accused. I am in no way saying MJ was a normal person or had a normal lifstyle. But you tell me how many of you would be able to lead a normal sane life with such worldwide fame, money, power and people following your every footstep. Then they twist every little wrong thing trying to turn everything you do into something it isn't. In my opinion the childrens parents didn't have any proof or facts of the child abuse and were out for the money. If there were concrete evidence i'm sure he would've died in jail. Of course this is just my opinion which we are all entitled to. He was still someones son, a brother and a father to 3 children of his own. I don't feel there is any need to be rude or nasty to get your opinion accross. Michael Jackos will live on through his music forever. R.I.P. Michael Jackson. Ok, so how about a list of all the things people will need to do either the fog to brake or fog to tail/brake. And how the get the pulsing brakes. I think a list in one place would be great.

Mate take a look at the worldwide ebay not just UK. I got a pair from Japan a while ago now, but they came to £130 all in. Brand new in boxes. Thats less than the price of one from a dealer. I've now (over time) sourced nearly new later spec ones off of ebay, like new. I will be fitting them when i fit my TTE bumper. Finances allowing. Lol!

I'm convinced! Only from these posts though Ormi! Lol! Like the pic it looks really good mate. I never used to think much of this mod, but thinking about it, the inner lights are rarely ever put to use. So hooking them up to run as tails or fogs makes sense really. So, now i want to hook mine up to the brake lights with flashing modules. No tails though. I used to have the flashing bulbs but never thought they were bright enough so went bak to normal bulbs. I want some custom LEDs (thats another story. Lol) I'll have to have a look at your walk through mate. Nice work!
