I say i'm going to join the same date every year...January 1st! But i'm yet to join a gym. I could do with losing a few pounds i just feel everyone down the gym is superfit and i may feel a bit odd...my mate is a personal trainer but doesn't live close enough for me to take advantage of it.

I think chrome detailing can look quite good done in the right way. It was a thing in the late 80's early 90's and now its made a comeback on most new cars. Chrome window surrounds, chrome sills, number plate trims etc. Each their own and all that.

Yes i read this, its a few weeks old now. It came 1st place in another poll too. Was it build quality? It was the best car in the Auto Express polls for some time. Quite an achievement for a car that went out of production 4 years ago!

So who'll be scrapping their 1999 Lexus then? If you would dare what could you replace it with and where do you find the other 10k plus for a decent motor!?

If its been cancelled wouldn't that mean they're un-insured henace noone to claim from? Unless she changed companies or something. If there is no insurance to claim from it'll come out your pocket so to speak.

i plan to get into an IS300 too, when budget allows. Still they're hard to come by aren't they with correct mileage and colour. If you're fussy.

Lol at all the comments, especially how you learnt the hard way Rory! My car was almost perfect when i bought it in 2005, and until the wife started driving it in 2007! She also learnt the hard way aswel! If you get what i mean...Lol! I'm going to put all mine right very soon though. I still have a TTE kit (minus rear skirt which i've been searching for) sitting around waiting to be fitted, new 11 spokes, late spec lights and fogs amongst other stuff. But unfortunately there is always something else to spend your hard earned on like you say Rory. I hear what you're saying about the IS300 LE, Parthiban, but they seem to be over priced in my opinion. So none of them come with SatNav?! Oh and yes i do have a top slot CD player! My car, IS200 SE Auto, registered 31st Jan 2001 X has 2 tone dash and electric passenger seat. Is it from your own research Parthiban that you know all this info on the specs and date changes etc? When did the LE exactly run from and to? Seems the IS300 LE is a hard find?!

Its been on ebay for ages, relisted all the time. its definately not original anyway, well as far as i know Toyota/Lexus only had the TTE and TRD kits.

Thtas why i was surprised Saraj! I f someone offered me £5.5k for my 2001 i must admit i'd be tempted, only because i could go buy another the same pocket about £2.5k and fit a S/C!! :)

Well that isn't actually too bad considering age/miles. So what do the late IS200's go for, say an '05 plate with low miles? I'm sure i've seen 2000/01 cars go for around £3.5k mark with similar mileage.

dazz32, yours is not an LE! They only came in Kodiak Sky colour. As you said you have a Sport, you can't have a Sport LE. You have full leather as it was made standard on the run out models which yours is. The kits were all options as far as i know, TTE or TRD with optional 18" rims. Looks nice though :)
