  1. Yesterday
  2. I remember the Enterprise - D had a coolant leak in the warp core. Didn't end too well.
  3. So im hearing really a lot of negative things about the rz, are these issues including the 12 battery with one car or all of the RZs. I really don not need to be taking the car regularly to the garage. I’m really considering cancelling my lease order before it’s too late. It seems the dealers are not knowledgable regarding the rz. Need to be able to ask questions and get correct answers from Them.
  4. Thanks, I think I am being ripped off! I think they are asking £1600 which I thought sounded ridiculous. I think they are trying to claw back money from the discount I got. I'll sort it out Tuesday 😉
  5. Any battery flattened (and they do go flat with time even when not connected) will be damaged. It may be fine when charged but will have reduced capacity and lifespan.
  6. For a gloss single colour full ca4 wrap £3500-ish but you can have individual parts wrapped. So, if it's just your roof that is manky, just have that wrapped. You won't get a good colour match so best to go for a complimentary colour.
  7. Im getting this as well . The Takumi with the hazel interior. Do the mats not come in the hazel colour as well. Noticed in your back of car the mats are black . How are you finding the RZ in general .
  8. So in the uk , do we get the update that show the % mark and the increase in range ?
  9. Hello All. So in the uk which update is the latest one I should see on the car when I pick it up . And will it have the % mark . From the USA forums they are saying the % mark is useful to see and has improved range also but no quite sure how an update would improve range. All I know is my rz was build in 2023 and is a Takumi model. What should I be watching for on pick up and what questions should I be asking. Although I’m leasing they Lexus branch they still have to give a proper handover experience .
  10. Where did you learn of the Japanese smell test !
  11. A lot depends on the geography of where you live too. Those living on the flat will usually see significant gains in economy with such a heavy vehicle. For me, living in a hilly area, best you could hope for would be a long term average of 30mpg (my 2014 F sport averaged between 28 and 30mpg long term, winter to summer). Only had my RX4 a few days but so far showing low 30's but each drive sees a slight improvement (currently on just under 32mpg). It's doing a little better than the older one.
  12. So I'm driving down the A31 at 8am today Sunday 26th May on my way to Bournemouth Bowling Club with my bowls partner just below the speed limit officer when in my rear view mirror approaching fast is a Black Lexus ISF he comes alongside me thumbs up we both have big grins at the realisation that to see another ISF on the road is very unlikely. But unbeknown to this driver his Black Lexus ISF reg number LX51SFX was my previous ISF which I part exchanged for my current ISF from Lexus Hedge End in 2019!!!!!! COINCIDENCES OR WHAT!!!
  13. your Honda Accord Mk8 Touring sounds interesting ……. rare I’m thinking too ! The Legend ……. They only sold some 285 in the UK between 2006/12 and possibly the best car Honda made but could never sell here …… they are quite inexpensive now by comparison to other 3.5ltr “ limos” and Autotrader often have stellar mileage ones at modest prices say £2/3k but low mileage cars at “ collectors “ silly prices These engines will do huge miles ….. mines now done just about 150k with only normal servicing + an alternator, brakes, tyres, batteries whatever ….. great cars but suffer from the plasticised silver chrome peeling and of course now dings and dents and wheels needing refurbishing …… and at the car’s value I’m not sure I’ll be treating her except for continuing proper annual servicing and maintenance …… looking pristine doesn’t hack it for me with the Honda Legend My bro-in-law spent lots £££££ at the Main Dealer before I bought it from him 8 years back ……. he then got a Lexus as his Director’s company car 👍 I should have realised the gearbox oil cooler / radiator issue at approaching 150k was “ preventative maintenance “ territory just like the later Ls430s My two Ls400s are the right cars for me but ‘er indoors ‘ just much prefers her Honda Legend …… as I pay the bills of course 🤩 I’ll see what piccys I can achieve ……. soon 😅 Malc
  14. You have to post up some pics of your Legend! LOVE these so much! I'm currently in an Accord MK8 touring but keep on being tempted with the Legend but so many haven't been taken care of 😞
  15. Unlike the probable very last X reg year 2000 Ls400 finding a buyer on here from forum member borderslad …….. my 2006 Honda Legend might possibly be one of the very first of the KB Mk1V Legends sold here in the UK Malc 🤔
  16. If you have inadvertently selected TA on the radio, the aerial stays up to listen out for any Traffic Announcement pips.
  17. Never used that on the screen but if you don't have the sidebar with the various options or a back arrow at the top you could try voice command... "Hey Lexus, Start Over" which should take you back to the home screen. Have you only got a car manual ?, there is also a Nav manual that goes into everything a bit deeper.
  18. 2 wheels and me don't get along. My friend Paul let me have a go on his Lambretta. Think it must have looked farcical with me trying to hold it off the wall whilst simultaneously revving it (unknowingly). Riding back pillion on it we went across a railway crossing and l levitated to having the rear passenger bar wedged right where it was excruciating. In blind oanic I tried to hang on to Paul. We were saved by our other friend coming up behind and literally pushing me back into place. I don't understand why I never got to ride the scooters again (sic).
  19. That's good to know, I'm unsure but I feel as though my car feels a bit unsettled currently. More so on long motorways drives. I'm going to get the bushings and suspension checked when I get the car serviced and MOTed next month. I'm also considering the same ISF/GSF LCA bushes. I think if I changed the shocks, I'd likely order the stock ones again from Amayama as they work out about £70 per corner, which isn't too bad.
  20. Thanks! The car feels really good. Better than it was and not at all uncomfortable. The ride is actually way better now as I think the old shocks had softened up with age, making things quite bouncy and uneven. Costs were as follows; GSF bushes - £72 Bilstein B6s - £516 H&R Springs - £142 The springs were bought in 2016 for that price. Probably £200+ for a set now.
  21. Had the RX 500H Takumi since December 23, ex managers car registered July 23. My second Lexus although my first was about 20years ago. Liked the look of this model but not convinced with ownership. Brakes making a squeaky sound, was told it was regenerating. Phone not connecting to media. Had it back at dealership three times. Has a courtesy RX500 and no noise from brakes, so I said to them. They Said the brakes had dust on them. Still no phone connection, can receive call & call out but only by touching contact on screen. Had it back they said keys need programmed as I had to touch screen to agree every time I started car. Phone worked, did an over air update on Wednesday, phone not working. I have a squeak when braking/ edging out not sure if a spring or something. I have also felt a judder when driving going through the gears, anyone else have these issues? Any help appreciated. sorry for long rant, would sell and go back to Volvo.
  22. Should’ve been ok then as it’s OEM presumably 🤔 not having being replaced by Varta or some such doubtful, dubious make Malc
  23. Oh my it’s 1.3 billion and ONE now 😇 Malc
