Thats some great footage, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately my fault is back, in at lexus next week so will bring up the issue, after reviewing all the data logs I've made and Freeze Frame Data it was pointing to the "Stroke" sensor in the Rack, but today the rack started making strage noises and completely stopped working 😞 I am thinking this is going to be expensive 😞

RX450H+ EV range and ICE consumption
AWC replied to Ken R's topic in RX 300 / RX 350 / RX 400h / RX 200t / RX 450h Club
You can get on it but you would need to instal an Octopus compatible charger like an Ohme. -
I am not particularly loyal to any brand. If they annoy me at all then I try someone else (hope Lexus is listening 😅) I have changed from Ford to MG to Vauxhall to Saab to Audi and now to Lexus. Most have been good cars.

knocking nearside rear
whiteman replied to whiteman's topic in RX 300 / RX 350 / RX 400h / RX 200t / RX 450h Club
Ive sorted the annoying knocking on the rear which I thought was a shocker, After having a play at the rear I noticed some play in the anti roll bar, bought some poly bushes for £16 and its cured the issues, silence again .... only took me 6 months to sort lol - Today

I have actually had 4/5 honda's and they have been great cars although both my accords driveshaft failed and that was an expensive repair. I have noticed that a lot or maybe even most people tend to stick to the same brand forever once they are happy. Why change! If it ain't broke, don't fox it.

Jacaranda are a sight to behold. First saw them in Sydney. Then a few days ago in Estepona.

I have confirmed the RR Racing tune now fitted to my car removes the Japanese speed limiter which is nice, need to work out how to remove the cruise limiter.

My wife & I spent 5 days in Cadiz in late May several years ago. The jacamuda trees were in flower & a terrific sight. We loved our stay. I recommend you visit Le Caleta beach used in 007's Die another day film. Great for coastal walks.

Day trip tomorrow. Can't decide between Gibraltar and Cadiz. Anyone been to either?
-
Thanks for the extra info. I will take both the switch and/or the mirrors apart and see where the problem lies. I don’t like it when things don’t work, even if not required too often. Also, I fear I may have to let SWMBO drive the car, and she is a good deal shorter than me so will need the mirror U/D adjustment. Still, this could be a good excuse to stop her driving it🤔

Profile login
Hayzee replied to Delboy wilts's topic in Lexus NX300h / NX200t / NX350h / NX450h Club
Profile not syncing has been the bane of my life and continues to be so. If anyone knows how to fix this permanently please let me know. Regarding problems with the uppercase key have you checked the temporary screen protector has been removed? -
If it's the "Continue" screen when you switch on just ignore it as it disappears after a few seconds and the Sat Nav screen appears and is normal. If it's some other screen on about profiles or similar then others have had it and it had to be reset at the dealer.

Considering sale of RCF and switch to….
DamianLEX replied to RCF Fan's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
I sat today in one 110GT at South Wales Car Show in Chepstow. Alpine Cardiff branch had one in green. I liked the interior and seating position. 1100kg sounds very interesting 😁 Exterior is like little Aston Martin. I’m going to book a test drive. Seems to be a great car. -
Price?

RX450H+ EV range and ICE consumption
Tom, replied to Ken R's topic in RX 300 / RX 350 / RX 400h / RX 200t / RX 450h Club
Interesting John & Chris. I know that Octopus have a somewhat cheaper tariff than 'Octopus GO' which I am on and gives me 9p per unit from 0030 to 0430. However, my understanding is that the 7.5p tariff is only available for those cars whose manufacturers have signed up to Octopus' clever smart arrangement, which Lexus have not. Chris, I also export excess solar, but am paid 70.71p per Kwh. We were lucky enough to get on original 'feed-in' tariff.
