Got New Brake Pads Fitted For Free Today...

...under the warranty. As i was working i trusted my missus with the keys and was impressed that Lexus dropped her of in town for shopping and then picked her up again. Was eyeing up the IS300 LE very nice but not 28k nice.

Under warranty? How come? I always thought, and have been told, that brake pads and disks do not come under warranty, they are wear and tear items.

Well i bought my 99T Sport 2 months ago and from then the brakes were squeaking so i asked them to have another look and the technician said the front pads had 88% wear and the rear had 80%. They said that they would replace them under warranty saving me £300!!

I was quoted £600+ to change front and rear pads and rear disks! So I did it myself for £200 :winky:
