Vizage Bodykit For Altezza...

Will it fit correctly on the IS200? It's a damn fine sexy piece of kit but so far I haven't found anywhere that sells them that isn't dodgy looking.

I also want to consider lowering the suspension by about 30mm as well. Not too much as I normally have passengers in the back so I don't really want to worry about rubbing the tyres.

Hmmm, depends where you get it from. If its from Japan for the Tezza it should fit fine.

If its from the US for the IS300, then the front and rear skirts will need modifying to fit (I believe they are an inch too long due to the US IS having larger crash bars, and hence, longer bumpers)

Cheers for the info - didn't realise the US versions were slightly larger.

Having never bought a bodykit before - do these things normally come with instructions? I reckon I'll end up taking it to my local body repair shop and get them to paint it and fit it anyway but any supplied info is good.

I have the Visage kit on my 200sport and it looks good, it was a nightmare to fit the front and back bumpers needed to be cut down. once i get a camera i will post some pictures for all to see!!

the only thing i would say to remember is once fitted the front will be a lot lower and you will have to be extremley carefull when driving over speed bumps and such, i think i will need to stiffen my suspension as i have had some close calls

apart from that it looks the mutts nuts!!

Yep US bumbers are an inch deeper,, width is the same, just deeper. US Safety laws..
