Lexus Live Launch

just watched the Detroit motor show live launch on the web and I must say the LC500 which is due in the showrooms next year( I assume America first) looks like a lovely car probably replacing the RCF.

don't know the specs yet but will be available later on. this car was a concept which after great feedback have decided to build.

the video is available to watch on the lexus site along with the new LF FC fuel cell car available in 2020

Its not replacing the RC-F.

Its going to be the flagship so expect a price of around £80-100k. Turns out it is also coming with a new chassis which will be used on all front engine rear wheel drive cars from Lexus and a new infotainment system to replace the current one

What is this competing with? 911 and Evora will have superior driving dynamics, will be smaller and lighter. Merc SLS etc is more expensive by far. What is this up against?

Id assume its up against something like the Mercedes S-class coupe and Maserati Granturismo

But both of those are proper 5 seaters. Very much looking forward to the release of this one.
