Hi

Sorry, I know there is a thread on this somewhere but I couldn't find it....  My question is that now Hayward & Scott have the new X pipe exhaust on their website, was is the general consensus on these?  I have the original H&S cat back system fitted to my ISF and am interested in seeing if there are any benefits to upgrading to the new full X-pipe system: http://www.haywardandscott.com/lexus-isf/lexus-isf-with-x-pipe.html

Any thoughts on this?

Thx

James

Hi guys,

I've not dyno'd mine yet, but hope to do so very soon.

Consensus suggests it should see a gain in power, but time will tell.

I do know it's quieter with the X pipe fitted. Drone is now non-existent.

Given my plan to add headers, that can only be a good thing in my opinion.

Its more neighbor friendly! lol.

Will get a dyno run done soon for comparison purposes.

Cheers.

My exhaust is going on as we speak, collecting the car tomorrow. I'll get a dyno run done in a month or so once I've racked up enough miles for the ECU to have recalibrated itself properly

Hi Peter.

Does it pop, bang, crackle on overrun?

Cheers.

Hi Dav,

Yes it does, but not as easy to hear it inside the car. You hear it outside though!

Cool :)  For me (and I know this may seem silly), the popping is very important.
