Updated RcF ?

That wing makes me wonder if they might be considering an 'extreme' RCF, to capitalise on the success of the GT3 car? Perhaps as a last swansong of our shape or possibly to introduce a hero car to introduce the new design language for a refreshed RCF...could be an RCF-GT3 maybe? stripped out interior...buckets...harnesses...optional cage - a la Porsche and BMW?

Sadly if we do get a new shape RCF I would expect we wont see the mighty 5.0 v8 in it...on the basis of the specs of the turbo V6 from the LSF

Most likely the V8 will still be there.

Its just a facelift by looks of it so engine should remain the same.

Just seen this. Now it does look like a celica :D

Can't get more power on same engine due to tighter emissions regs. In fact it's been reduced recently.

Interesting though. Fixed wing smells like money saving.

Yep, front bumper, headlights and rear lights are all different.

The massive wing would make me think it might be something aimed at the M4 CS

That would make sense... maybe finally they going to release RC-F Carbon, where Carbon is not only for looks but actually reduces weight.

It is speculation at best. I don't see how would Lexus shift LC-F with V6 Turbo, when LC500 is V8..... and yes yes ... of course you can make 3.5 V6 turbo with 700hp, but LC is not "tuners" car, not GT-R competitor... in the high-end GT cars segment small V6 with turbo will always be considered inferiour to V8. In which case V6 Turbo would be somewhere in the middle between 500 and 500h.

I would guess more likely V8 turbo, V10 maybe.... yeah I know - only in wettest dreams 😄

I agree. Prefer a bit more subtlety.

Hence why they have a standard version and will have a GT version

Weight saving is probably going to be around 100-150kg. It won't get to anywhere near 300kg like the original GT car
