Personally if I only have a couple of shopping bags I put them behind the front seats rather than in the boot to help keep them upright.

Yeah and someone on here as also removed that lower bowl and bought a liner from lidl to get more space if needed.

Hard to tell when you look at this pic. But the boot floor is about 15-20cm lower on the UX300e. It also has storage underneath that as well so it's about the same as a VW golf I would say
