The 300e boot floor is lower so the boot has more depth. It isn't that much bigger though.

You can remove the floor on the 250h but it is only partial.

 

Personally if I only have a couple of shopping bags I put them behind the front seats rather than in the boot to help keep them upright.

Yeah and someone on here as also removed that lower bowl and bought a liner from lidl to get more space if needed.

Plus the wife thinks it looks ugly at the front. But it’s only ugly when you look at it 🙃. 

Hard to tell when you look at this pic. But the boot floor is about 15-20cm lower on the UX300e. It also has storage underneath that as well so it's about the same as a VW golf I would say

Oh wow, that's considerably more usable! As cool as the "smuggling compartment" on my UX250h is, I'd much rather just have a larger overall boot!
