Looks like a Cobblathon type holiday.  Glad you are enjoying it!😐  Hope you are OK after the dodgy wine.

Ramón Bilbao 2004 Limited Edition Tempranillo (Rioja)

"Good color and intriguing aromas of baked fruit, tobacco and mint indicate that you're getting some modern-styled ripeness along with traditional Rioja earth, spice and old man's library. The palate is juicy and mildy fruity, while the finish pushes chocolate, vanilla, baking spice and tannins". Drinkable now but will age for another five years without a problem.

Unfortunately tasted in 2007 and the 5 yrs they refer to only goes to 2012 and may not be a crianza  - so, best of luck with that one.

Tonight I am drinking this and it gets the same score as the Ramon Bilbao product. I am expecting a more fruity flavour being a bit younger with less bottle age.Toilet Cleaner Refillable Bottle | OOMPH

Have packed a Panama. Fits in the spare wheel a treat.

What speed will it fly off?

I went to a car show last Saturday, had roof down with baseball cap on at the motorway speed limit without drama.

I wouldn't risk anything that doesn't have a chin strap. 🎩

Is superb! Shame there are no decent wine glasses.

Bursting with heavy bramble fruit and a long lingering finish.

Thank you Airbnb hosts!

remembering a few years back when i took myself off for a glorious month touring thru' Spain and Portugal, then home back thru' France but not before the Customs Border Force guy leaving Spain had emptied out my boot and all car innards looking for  .........  drugs I guess !

He was most peeved when i refused to load it all back into my car and made him do it  ......  the bugger 🤣

Funny story here…some friends of ours have a villa in Spain and they take their UK registered car on the ferry and then drive down. At the Spanish border they were pulled in for an inspection and the custom official was delighted to find a 40” LCD TV in the boot knowing that taxes would have to be paid on it. Apparently his face dropped like a stone when a Spanish purchase receipt was waved in his face. 😀

Amazingly I too saw, on that trip,  a huge eagle, about human size it seemed, on the edge of the road almost next to me, as me in my 95 Ls400 was coming up the mountain road, round the bend, quite quiet of course, then just then, the eagle opened its enormous wing span and flew off down into the mountains .........

wish I could have taken a photo but I was both hands steering up that treacherous mountain pass ......  somewhere in Spain that day

I shall NEVER forget that event !

Yes, Eagles and buzzards are quite partial to a bit of roadkill. I saw an eagle ( I think, because it had about a six foot plus wingspan ) trying to pull a dead deer apart at the side of a road in S France.
