I haven't got access to a trailer and the cars stuck on the ramp at work.

I want to remove the charger so the guys at work can just do the engine swap, should make the job faster

Can pop down later if you like Chris but haven't got a clue what I'm doing?

Just waiting to find out if I'm at work or not at the minute though so that could stop me mate.

Sort of mate, hopefully my sat nav should be back up and running at some point today if I can get the receiver to do a full reset!

I'll see if I can find out what's going off today, we're waiting on someone to release some software and it's not there yet :(

If the engine is being LIFTED out Chris, you'll have to probally detach all the intercooler pipe work, but sure you can leave the bendy bit at the intake on mate, unless theres bolts underit where they have to seperate the top from the bottom of the engine.

Not hard to remove that piece, just an allen key mate, and a good wiggle afterwards and pull in an upright movement ..

If being DROPPED out Chris, still need to unde the Intercooler pipework so it will DROP out..

I think MAt C will be the best person to ask thereafter, as I have never taken an engine out before, only fitted and removed SC kit. Can help you fit it back at JAE.. Bring some tools etc if you like .
