if you want to ring your car up and lock it unlock it play with thing or slow your car down to a craw SAFLEY have a look at

http://www.mobilizerltd.com/

the mobilizer gives you the abilaty to ring the car up and the enforcer can slow a car down to a crawl ill be fiting one of each to miy is200 very soon

i will test this because when i forget to arm the black jax iam am normally upto to 40 mph and the siren sounds then you have 5-10secs to put your code in

That's similar to the one we are working on. It is a "user" based system to keep costs down. i.e. the user controls what the car does, rather than the more expensive and subscription based systems on the market.

It limits the REVS - it doesn't cut the engine. It slowly reduces it to around 1000rpm, then starts flashing the lights, indicators, etc.

Simply call it up and enter your code. Call it up again to disable it. No subscription for the receiver - it's a one of payment for life. (It's life is classed as 30 years)

It's a trade off - eventually stop the engine or slow so much that it's undriveable and they want to get away?

Without stopping the engine, the vehicle is going to be in a bit of a smash anyway, as no thief is going to safely park and apply the handbrake when doing a runner. They are going to bail at the earliest opportunity.

It depends how much people want to pay and how far you want to go. We're just looking at an economical way of at least not letting them get away with it.

Just thought we could fill a gap in between the usual devices and the high end ones. If there's no interest then it's really not worth persuing. Ultimately, it's what the drivers want and is within an affordable range.

how does your system controle the revs? according to the home office you can kill the ignition because the unburnt fule damages the cat's

eletronic throtle's is a good way but very limated aplacation at preasant and a few cars have multi wire back up systems (B.M.W's) not easy to controle

then theres killing the injeactors

the fuel pump is a poor way because of it speed of recovery is not the same on all cars.

some years ago we were getting astra nicked at a rate of about 1 a day from a car park so we set an operation and our technical dept wired up an astra so that

when the baddies jumped in the car all the doors locked and the horn sounded.

it was funny as f**k watching them winding down the windows just as the police dog jumped through it into the front seat.

By reading the current RPM, then presenting the form on top of the ECU input to fool the ECU into thinking it has maxed.

The ECU then takes over and kicks off the revs. By pulsing this, (quite quickly) you are using the cars in-built system to work for you.

It then resets and is relative to the previous RPM, so gradually reduces it. It is remarkably smooth doing it this way.

I'm still in the testing stages so if anybody has any ideas or points out dis-asdvantages, they are more than welcome. Any input is appreciated.

Of course, we could go for the ultra safe method and just have it pulsing lights, horn, cockpit voice warning, etc. That would work out quite cheap actually. We could work on that for now if anybody is interested.
