Fast Car?

Recommended Posts

Probably slightly faster with real-life driving than some similar powered/0-60 timed cars because of the good handling, brakes and the six speed gear box. You can carry more speed through a corner than other cars and have a bit more flexibility on the motorway if you use the gears.

But apart from that no, not that fast.

It can be as fast as you want it to be!!!............if you have enough money.

But I think the answer to your question is prob NO.

It's even worse when you are used to having a supercharger and then the supercharger disapears!..........All for a good cause though

TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO:

For a 2 litre straight-six the IS200 is underpowered and slow - compared with similar cars from competitors.

However, taking into account the build quality, optional extras supplied as standard, reliability, comfort, after-sales support etc then the IS200 becomes a lot more attractive.

If you want to go fast and make a lot of noise buy a Scooby, Civic-R or Leon Cupra-R; if you want to stand out from the mediocrity buy the IS.

DITTO, but you can still out drive these cars if you are clever enough, but on a straight line dual carriageway type r and scooby really do go past like your parked.

I agree with Niraj on this. Before i had an s/c i used to crawl around the streets so everybody could see me in a Lexus. :D Although they probably wondered why i was grinning insanely

The IS doesn't need to be fast. Although they are brilliant on the motorway.
