Its definantely made my mind up now so its just a case of waiting to see about the feedback regarding the prolex induction kit then it looks like its prolex all the way... :P

The baffle is held in by two small bolts - they can be unscrewed easily once the exhaust has been fitted, and if you want to put it back in cos you prefer the baffled note then its a doddle to do that too.

Thanks Mr Tomas, that's good news - did you have to jack the car up to do that?

Nope, it literaly takes seconds and as Colin P says it just slides into the end of the exhaust.

I haven't noticed any droning at motorway speeds with the baffle removed.

With regards to performance increases - it does seem more lively at the low to mid rev ranges (and pulling away is definitely better).

Better start saving up for the Prolex induction kit next. :D

Mr Thomas in the video with the baffle out had you warmed up the exhaust pipe first (let it run for a bit or something).

Mines never is that loud when cold, but like it when warm, is that the only thing you've had done to your car?
