Old Is200 No Longer Available?

My wife is looking for a new company chariot and had her mind set on an IS200. When we visited our local dealer we were told that Lexus have totally sold out of all old model IS200's and she'd have to wait for the new model (which doesn't look as good in our opinion and is out of her price band anyway)

I'm not holding much hope here but does anyone know of any other sources of brand new old model IS200s other than main-dealers? maybe some fleet company who may have some in stock?

Eeh. 2nd dealership has repeated the story - "they aren't available any more."

but yet, I am not defeated.

I'll give that guy a call tomorrow to see what he has to say and the wife is gonna speak to the leasing company to see whether they have access to any of their own stock.

If not it's a 307cc 180se, Honda CRV (?!??!!!), or an R-Type civic.

just done a local-ish search for you on the Lexus website. Lexus Wolverhampton are selling a couple of is200s with 10 miles on them (delivery miles). Lexus Manchester had a few with 250 miles on them. They are classed as pre-owned, but they are still minters.

The Honda is a nice car, but very single minded, the CRV is ugly and outdated.

Only IMHO of course.....

The IS200 seems like a Jap 3 series to me, a good all round trad saloon with a little class about it!

This 'Image' is easy to live with long term, and the quality is too. :)
