Help Me Settle An Argument With The Missus

Well, its like this, ive been having an argument with the missus, im telling here that there have been some GOOD cover versions of various tunes, she is saying there are none.. for the life of me i can only think of a few so help me please..

Some that spring to mind are:-

Dead right, in fact the Sinead version tops loads of polls as the greatest song ever!

It was #1 in the German Top 500 when we were over there years ago!

She never really had any other big songs apart from that though I think?
