Has anyone fitted one of these to a normally aspirated car?

With the decatted exhaust that's being fitted along with the Typhoon, there would appear to be benefits to be gained from fitting one.

yes you would be able to stop the fueling going a bit lean at parts of the rev range and stop it being rich in others. You should see better mid range performance but probably not much more peak bhp. You may even get 1 or 2 mpg more.

There's a guy over on IS.net who puts out 221 RWBHP with a similar setup to mine, and with the SAFC set up correctly.......seems like the way to go :D

  • 2 weeks later...

i have been looking in to these units and have seen them for bout 170 quid, how much you rekon it would cost to get it set up? if it gets the car running smother with a few extra bhp s and perhaps getting a little more mpg, it would be worth it? or would it? i dont really know much about these things and the previous thread in the link above just confused me (as it appears it did most of the people taking part in the convo, it reads like a comedy sketch,)
