Dusty Dash

Hi all what’s the best stuff for cleaning the dash I have been using Armor All I think its silicon based but it attracts dust like a magnet any suggestions

Use nothing. Just a cloth. Best way to stop it attracting any more dust.

i use auto glym vinyl and rubber care. it seems to give out a real nice finish and the smell is real nice. don't think its the best stuff on the market, but its not too badly price and works well.

Use a very slightly damp cloth one of those microfibre things, don't use any cleaner etc. as it will make shiny and it's not meant to be ;)

I use those Pledge duster things, you know they ones that attract dust - one wipe and you'd be amazed, nice lemon fragrance as well :)

I use a VAX vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment - gets it all off.

In particular, a microfibre cloth. They pick up all sorts of crap easily (the ones that feel like they're gonna stick to you when you run your fingers over it...)

I don't like the shiny look many products leave (looks tacky and cheap).

I use the brush head off a hoover then a damp microfibre cloth.

Works a treat for a couple of days then back to square one.

I'd rather do that than have a shiny dash.

I made the mistake of using a dash wipe on my car (Armourall one)...now soooo shiny I can hardly see through the windscreen when it's sunny. Sorking on wiping it off presently...

I'd say a damp cloth etc are best bets.

A damp cloth won't prevent your dash from fading in bright sunlight......need to use a product that contains a UV screen, such as 303 Aerospace Protectant
