Do The Is & Gs Have Same Alloy Wheel Fitments?

Had a quick scoot around the forums and can't really find the answer, there's not a lot of posts in the GS forum in relation to alloys..

So, can anyone please tell me whether alloys from the IS would fit straight onto a GS / Aristo?

Guessing they're similar due to the same brakes?

Yes fella they are the same stud pattern, offset, bore

PCD 5 X 114

centre bore 60.1

Offset 38-45

Fitting wider wheels will change the offset. But so long as you stay within the variants 38-42 there will be no problem. Even then you can make modifications,spacers etc.

Bigger wheels ( say 17 to 19s ) Will stay the same offset unless they are wider.

i.e. 215s to 265s (7J to 8.5J )

Yes, the IS and GS are both 38 - 45

GS uses different standard offset and the standard 17" GS wheels are wider than the IS 17" wheels.

I was told by my local dealer the Mk 1 GS has a different off set. You have to remember that fitting wheels with a different offset can put excessive loads on wheel bearings

I have always wondered what the GS300 sport alloys would look like on the IS200.

I wonder what the offset is for the new IS - I quite like the look of the wheels on that. Prolly be expensive for a start though.

but as far as i remember they used GS wheels with a lower offset to fill them arches
