depends which dodge u go for the viper or the ram pick up - i would go for the ram but remember you can very very easily burn the 22" rear tyres as it is a pick up

Sorry for being :offtopic: , but fluff, your avatar looks (because of the image resolution) like you're either carrying a snow board or have a chainsaw strapped to your arm (such as in the movies Evil Dead II and III) hehe. Something we should know about ?!? ;)

ha - i have never done that :msn-oh: - changed my avatar now .

so back on topic shall we.....

Here Here.

I'm starting to get the urge for the Prowler. I think if I had to choose a car abroad, I'd choose something that you will very much be unlikely to drive over here.

That's why I'm not voting for the Ferrari. Although I admit it is a lovely motor, you could always hire one over here if you wanted.

Id go for Viper SRT bloomin amazing also the longest shot ever but see if u can get the new Twin Turbo'd Viper 3mph quicker than that Buggti Venron Thingy.

There Making 24 or 28 or something and at 130,000 thats cheap for 1000bhp that is the sexiest and meanest looking car EVER FULL ......

Yummy - very nice looking although I'd imagine driving that is like trying to tame a wild mustang.

Narrowed it down to the dodge or the ferrari.

What would happen, *** forbid if you smashed 'em? Would their insurance cover the cost?

not sure, but i have my own insurance over there and i guess the rental company will be covered also!!

i'm really beaing drawn to the ferrari's or the Viper GTS.

think i'd look pretty cool pulling up at Caesar's Palace casino in one of them :D :winky:

Excellent choices.. personally I'd go for the Ferrari 355 over the dodge, if for nothing else the "pose factor" that you get from it... for example... ...

Either way, we want pics when you go, mate !!

y did u get rid of the ferrari??? its a beautiful motor!!

It was indeed .. the best car I ever owned (apart from the 2x Lexus, of course...) and the third Ferrari I'd ever owned. (Previous to the 355 was the 348TS and before that, a Testarossa)

I had the opportunity of buying an aircraft, and since the Ferrari spent most of its time in the garage and I would have gotten (and actually did get) a lot more use out of the plane, I decided to sell the 355 to buy the plane. Had that for 2 years. Of course since then, other things took priority, such as kids etc., so I sold the plane in October. Actually got more than I paid for it in the first place, which helps somewhat.

Any ferrari which has the designation of "Spider" is a full convertible. There is also the "GTS" and "TS" designator which refers to a targa top. My 348 was the TS and the 355 was the GTS, so both targas.

Hope you enjoy Vegas!

Cheers

L.

A targa, or T-bar top means that the roof panels lift out, so kinda semi-convertable. The actual roof itself does not fold down though.

Like on my Tubby :winky:

oh ok.

im familliar with the t-bar, didn;t realise that was the same as a targa!!

cheers mr m :D

When i was in Vegas on my honeymoon it was also my 30th birthday, so my wife hired me the 355 spider for 5 hours. It was great driving down the strip. Just make sure you organise insurance before you go. I think the insurance worked out about £20 for the 5 hours. Make sure you wear a hat as well :winky:

How much was it to hire the car? I'm out there in a couple of months for a baby shower. Would be nice to get one... :whistling:

T-Bar is a type of targa.. the other is instead of an actual T-section, the centre part of the roof can be removed and slid behind the seats.

Example here in the 355 at Dijon Prenois circuit in France in 2002 -- with the top removed.

(apologise for the scrunching up of the image, it was captured from a video we did of the day)
