Leaky Boot....

Anyone else suffer from this??

Had a search in the gs300 part of the forum, seems to be caused by a damaged boot rubber, but mine seems to be OK.

I seem to be getting a bit of water into the boot lid itself.

Light seal maybe??

Mine tends to let in water when I hose down the car when washing it.

The bootlid seal is the problem on mine so I just take care not to get too much water around the bootlid.

Check the plastic clips that hold the trim for the rear screen in place.

Had my rear screen changed and the water came in and ran down the channel were the boot light is. the glass company traced it to these clips and resealed them in and no probs since.

The boot seal leaks by going under the seal. Pull it off after a heavey rain and if it is leaking there it will be wet.
