I didn't see it last night but I've seen it before, the female acting DI drove it, is that the same one? I think it was an IS300 (from the e-shift buttons on the steering wheel).

I don't think that's the same car as has been on before.

This is sad but thanks to my Sky+ box I forwarded at 30x to find the Lexus bits and then played in slow motion. Its definitely a T reg as you say (T38JTY) but its a new car - it has the new grill, piping on the seats and side curtain airbags none of which mine has (I told you this was sad!)

Its definitely a IS200 though looking at the seats when they found the 'Cass' necklace. I'm sure the one she drove before had full leather and the E-Shift buttons.

I think - and this is going to be sad - is that production companies have x amount of number plates registered to them for public broadcast (i know i wouldn't want my number plate appearing on some beat up old escort!). All they do is borrow cars from unsuspecting loan companies, swap the plates and hey presto - a brand new IS manufactured on an 80's A plate! :arrrggg-matey: all of em! :)

There was a flaw in the plot for the Bill the other night...

Several weeks ago, DI Nixon's ISx00 was featured and it showed the car with it's sat nav screen up. However the other night, whilst on the phone to Dunc, said "wait until I get my A to Z" !! Surely all she had to do was fire up the lex ?

Or am I being as sad as ricky! :D
