Lexus Is 200 Se Wheel Sizes

I am considering purchasing a Lexus IS 200 SE. On checking the specifications of the vehicle on this site and the Lexus site, both specify the wheels to be 17" with tyre 215/45ZR17.

I have seen a Lexus IS 200 SE Nov 2004 (54) advertised with 16" wheels. Is this a mistake or can the IS 200ES 54 plate be supplied with either 17" or 16 wheels.

Your comments please and advice.

It can come with either 16 or 17's as standard with optional 18's

The SE comes with 17" wheels as standard (if its a 54 should have the 11 spoke ones)

Its either just an error, the alloys have been changed or its actually a base model (does it have the leather interior?)

If it was on the net, perhaps post the link up so we can see the car :)

Yes has Leather Interior.

Me too.

It doesn't matter whether its auto or manual mate. The car should have 17's on if its SE or maybe the owner has changed them. If its got the half leather interior then its not an S as the S has cloth interior :)

If you like the car and everything else seems fine then don't worry about the wheels. You'll probably end up changing them anyway :winky:

the person probably traded the rims for aftermarket ones while he/she was driving it... and then sold off the aftermarket ones & switched for the basic rims to sell the car.
