Thinking Of Gettind Rid Of My Is220d Sport

Recommended Posts

hey guys owned my IS220D sport since august this year and down just over 5k on it. Its been ok, buy very sluggish and the mpg is not as good as i thought. Getting around 29 combined and im doing 70% town and 30% motorway. Thought it would be better. Am getting fed up of it and hate the gear box as well. Its been in for 5th injector and ecu reflash and car was ok for about 1k but going back to its normal crap sluggish ways. Was thinking of changing it for an IS250 SE-L but not sure if auto box would be better for town compared to the manual one of the IS250 sport, which one would return better mpg?? Other option is to order the IS F and go mental lol. Please any feedback would be greatly appreciated regarding my current car and regarding what to get next IS250 SE-L or IS250 sport. Cheers. Nitin.

P.S. IS F is a possibility just need to check with the mrs :whistling:

Personally i would go for the IS250 SE-L and then get the "18" alloys of the sport put on the SE-L both are very good ( SE-L and sport )but dont get the manual gearbox go for the autobox..get best of both worlds be lazy and put in auto or flick to sport mode and use the flappy paddles.............OR if ya got the money get the IS-F... :hehe: :D but thats my opinion and we all like different things.....best bet is to try both the sport & SE-L on test drive (autobox) ;) and dont forget to add the multimedia

I'd definitely get the auto, whichever model you get, otherwise between the SE-L and Sport the main difference is just whether you like leather or not..........

But go mental and get the IS-F! :winky:
