Recently bought a '92 LS400 from a mate for a ridiculously small amount of money. Showing 180k miles, no service history and a couple of small problems (LHS of driver's seat is stuck when reclining, power steering lines leaking, pads due for renewal, aerial not working), but that's it. Everything else works as it should, even the air con is nice & chilly. So impressed with the stereo as well B)

I am totally in love with this car, and it has relegated my highly-modified Nissan 200SX S13 to lowly 2nd car status. Planning on LPGing the beast and then it should be as perfect as it can get. I even have it booked in to a garage to sort the little problems out. Not something I've done with a car for many years

It even has a brand new Sard induction kit fitted

Here it is, although back on standard wheels:

Looks very nice, pictures are excellent 28mm lens I think almost fish eye, are you a professional photographer?

BTW all the problems you have are common issues and all bar maybe the PS leaks are cheap DIY fixes.

Let me know if you need more info and I will give you the links to the fixes.

If you see me in Coalville give a wave.

Sorry chaps, I cannnot take credit for the pics, they were done by a pro

I've had a search for the seat fix, and I'm going to buy some Araldite ASAP. Saying that, it's in a nice laid-back position when both sides are even, so it's not too urgent.

Any links would be very appreciated though, and I'll keep an eye out for you as well.

Thanks!

We have a 95 LS in the family now. It cost £300 and has just under 300,000 on the clock.

What a car. Everything works apart from the display on the heater and it drives superb.

Scary thing is that it has no service history so could have been clocked.
