Fitting My S/c At Jae!

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, Even though my dad wants me to get my S/C fitted at a garage i think im just gonna bring it along to JAE!

Just wondering who might be able to give me a hand fitting it?

I'll bring along a couple of crates of beer to help with the process ;) anyone is more than welcome get stuck in :whistling: and also may be good for anyone looking to get a S/C themselves to see how its done! :D

Not sure on where will be best to do it though, as i havent seen any of the camping arrangments??

Tom.

Oh, what beer does everyone like ;)

i@ll help.

I've got a special 5point torx set for the ecu, i'll bring a socket set as well.

You'll need to bring a drill and the right size bit to drill the hole for the charger (its in the instructions)

I'm sure people should have anything else thats needed.

Stav

Fitting a S/c in open air can be done (not too hard).

If you still got the black ecu that's easy to install so no problem there either.

If you got the silver one I would't want to do this on a rainy day. (for unplugging the wires I would suggest to have the tool available that TTE advises, as small/customised mini screwdriver will work but not as well)

Lol i never fitted it wrong just had one page missing from my instructions then!

Got the full set now!

Instructions, im sure we will not be using them Stav :winky: what with your hands and my brains we are not going to get it wrong :D

So Stav is good with his hands :whistling:

Really looking forward to it, and meeting you all as i havent been able to attend any meets yet!

Are we going to do it on the Saturday or Sunday? As i dont want to take up too much of everyones time, i mean were there to see the show :D

Also i dont have a Soldering Iron, so if someone could bring one for the ECU would be great :D

Cheers,

Tom.
