hi guys.

my car Battery has gone u/s i need a new one.my local motor factor says there are 4 different ones listed.my old Battery has no numbers or stickers on it can anyone please tell me which Battery i need.rac came out jump started car and checked Battery it needs replacing he says it could be a 005 or a 069.any help would be most greatfull.

Either of those should be fine, you just need to make sure the terminals are on the right side. With the two terminals closest to you, the positive one should be on the right. (when fitted to the car, the positive will be on the left looking from the front of the engine bay).

the 069 has a greater cranking ampage and capacity so a bit heavier duty.

went and got a new Battery today the one listed for my car was too long too wide and too tall so we matched it up and got Battery no 100 its 12v 68ah put it on the car now all ok.but cost me £71.00 + vat for the Battery 4 year guarentee.

Kevin - best batteries are Bosch in my opinion. I use the S4 Silver label on my GS.

I thought mine was going a couple of months ago but it seems to be back in good health again.
