Thermometer

Recommended Posts

there is a temperal distortion around my car brought about by the use of meguires which creates what can only be discribed as a negative termerature field or a 'cool field'

so either my themometer isnt working or....

my car is cooler than yours :zee:

oh how I laughed!

Anyway, by fans I meant the blower fans that circulate the air. I have my system on auto all the time.

Also it does take a couple of mins for the outside temp to drop after driving away.

Any, lets not forget, it measures the outside temp, not inside so you must have been driving along with the thermometer outside the car (but with no wind on it!) otherwise experiment is null and void!!

The thermometer is static in the porch - constant readout of all ambient weather features

Ahhhhhh, thought you meant you were driving round with it!!

Mind you (and I don't know what your porch looks like) but wouldn't that upp the temp, if its glass enclosed or something. If its brick then maybe its cooler in there than outside??

Anyway, how accurate does it need to be, its only an indicator!

to make it accurate the thermometer will have to undergo the same trials as the cars meter is subjected to, you should also take the readings from the same point

i.e. FRONT LOWER GRILL RHS

are you using a houshold meter or medical grade one

Loz_crx_005.sized.jpg

porch in background

no glass

as scientific as i could make it

i moved the sensor so it was next to the car

i would hope that the themometers would be accurate the same way the mpg guage the speedo and others are accurate

how much do we pay for these?
