Ls400 Rear Suspension Bush

Hi All...

I hope this is in the right place...

My 1999 LS400 has just failed its MOT due to a worn suspension bush on the rear RHS (at least, that's the description given by my very reliable garage). It seems that (according to a Toyota dealer) the suspension bush is not available on its own and has to be purchased as a complete assembly described as a 'Rear Hub Bearing Carrier' (£290). They have provided vague part numbers on a Fax of 42304 and 42305 but the Internet has not been able to shed any light on these.

If anyone who has had this issue before can give me any clues, it would be greatly appreciated.

The car has been so reliable in the past that I can't really complain about this sort of cost, but I just hate paying for unnecessary parts if individual bushes are available.

Thanks in advance.

IAN
