Hi there just wanted to say hello and babble about how pleased I am with my first Lexus. I drove a GS a few weeks ago and loved it but have always wanted a V8 so got this instead.

Purists may not like the alloys but I think it looks great. Everything seems to work apart from drivers heated seat but the stereo is unlike anything I have ever heard- unbelievable

It's got 137k with Lexus history to 100k then specialist after that- Campbelt changed twice and immaculate bodywork and interior. I have never been in such a quiet car and for £1600 I think it's a gift

Any way just wanted to say hello

Patrick

If it's a MK3 P reg then the drivers heated seat probably isn't worth trying to fix ....... just have a cold bum for 5 mins in deep mid winter I guess.

Unlike other LS400s the front fogs are within the headlight system, it does have them, just not a separate item on the frontispiece.

Nice car

Hi Patrick, congratulations on your new car purchase. I was in your position a couple of months ago and I'm as enthusiastic today as I was then about my new LS400. They are fantastic cars. Enjoy yours and welcome to the forum! Jonathan

Nice car, nice colour and the wheels look great! I am exactly one week into ownership of my P reg, my drivers heated seat doesn't work either but the passenger one does. Yes, the sound is great. My last Saab 9-5 had a brilliant sound system with sub woofer but if my memory serves me right, the one in Betsy (sorry to be sad and name my car!!!!) is better and with the six CD changer the icing is on the cake :shifty:

Enjoy. Best wishes, Mark.

Hi Patrick,

Same colour and year as the one I acquired a couple of weeks ago. I too have the same problem with the driver's seat... seems to be a common problem on the MKiii. Are those wheels from the SC430 ? Not seen those before and they're not the DHP wheels that I have.

Enjoy your new car, and your new friend at your local petrol station ;)

Daniel.
