This has probally been discussed before.

But are there any M.O.T issues with this conversion ?

Secondly will the lights be the same brightness as the previous FOGS? will it blind other drivers ?

Hope this isn't a ****** but just wanted to know..

As i think it looks wicked on Chris car at JAE. :P

Yes it IS an MOT failure. So, disconnect the wiring before taking it in.

You will use a dual filament bulb (and holder) therefore as tail-lights they will be the same brightness as you normal lights, and when you brake (or use them as fogs) they will be fog light bright.

It's not an MOT failure to have 4 tail lights Zee I checked into that before I did mine (Read through the rule book)

And as long as the fogs still work then there shouldn't be an issue

However having 4 brake lights is illegal.

So what's the problem here ...

Do the mod and you'll have 5 brake lights

Had mine MOT'd a little while back, the only problem I had was putting a temp Rear Fog Light with a switch that lit up when on. Once MOT'd, removed the magnetic Light and switch. Sailed through without any other problems

Yes the Stop and Tail lamp holders fit but with a slight modification, these come as a seperate loom which can be purchased from your local Lexus Centre for about 20.00 each.
