It's so upsetting when that happens. Back last year my car was vandalised big time - brick through the rear screen, all door panels bashed in and key marks like you wouldn't believe. We also knew, but couldn't prove, who had done it. My husband was ready to 'go and have a few words' (ahem). It is gutting but if it's any small consolation it's largely down to jealousy and the mis-led belief that if you have a car like that, you can afford to repair the damage. What goes around definitely comes around and next time they'll have their come-uppance. In the meantime, Supercharged Morph recommended metallic T-Cut and it does make more of a difference. Failing that, try Chips Away or someone similar. Failing that, we'll get a lynch mob sorted for you

Can't work out how to load an Avatar though? On the profile section it asks for a weblink (or something), I just want to load a gif or jpg file. Anyway, I'll keep quiet until someone asks that one.

I've been 'offered' the chance to pay an additional £10. Completely optional but it means that it cuts the excess down from something completely stupid to something just short of daylight robbery. I hasten to say tho' when I've taken my car to Octogon Bracknell, I've been covered on insurance for free.

What's the funniest or wiedest present you've ever been given for your birthday or Christmas? Mine was a paint-by-numbers set...I'd mentioned to an aging relative that I was into art and got given a snowman paint by numbers set. I was 19 at the time !

I might even bring my mother-in-law along too!!!!!!! :D

A friend iof mine was driving along the Bath Road in Slough and spotted a chap stood by the traffic lights. She didn't think much of it until the lights turned red and he opened up the passenger door of the car in front and nicked their laptop. At work we've been advised to drive with the doors locked, and the obvious, sensible option is to keep anything valuable locked in the boot. "Let's be careful out there....!" :o

I think it's a great idea...in theory. I got a similar email about this about 6 months ago and forwarded it to everyone I know. Judging by the fact that I've not seen this email again until now, I suspect it's been a bit of a dud. Still, I think we should boycott these garages. If people start making a conscious effort maybe it'll work this time? :?::?:

I went on a driving event with Lexus a couple of weeks ago and took an RX300 'off-road' (of sorts, not hugely challenging tho'), it was good fun! :)

Hmmm, I would be offended had my wheels not been kerbed too (obviously when my husband had been driving - ahem!). Could this be the reason the garage isn't too keen on replacing them

Rub it in why don't you....just need to save my pennies and I'll get one.... At the mo' it's either a mortgage or an SC430 :lol: They're fantastic cars, drove one at a recent Open Road event. You'll have to come along to the next event - I promise not to drool over the paintwork! :tumble:

Mine are showing signs of corrosion. I've taken the car to Octogon Bracknell and they said they'd contact Lexus GB and get back to me. Still waiting for an answer but I'm not confident they'll change them under warrenty. :(
