i think there is a new iphone update due to be released by Apple. My guess is that it will unjailbreak your jailbroken iPhone, if that makes sense!

not sure about the lvery latest Rav 4, but my mum has a 55 plate one (shes changing it in september), and she cant wait to get rid, very disappointed with it. Her previous car was a Rav 4 which she loved and kept from new for 7 years. Whilst there was an obvious step up in terms of quality and what you get, the actually buid quality has been very poor. Mechanically it has been fine as you would expect, but there interior looks shocking after 3 years and its not like she treats it badly. Trim scratched and falling off all over the place. After this one, shes not bothering getting the 'new' Rav4 as it has put her off. Thinks shes opting for the Nissan Murano instead

doesnt really bother me to be honest. maybe i am being studpid, but i may sell my car shortly, but then the cost of replacing it will have also fallen

imo i think thats part of the appeal though, the fact its supercar power in such a discreet package. Well thats what appeals to me anyway

Lexus will launch a small Prius-based hybrid hatch at next January’s Detroit motorshow, Autocar has learnt from sources in Japan. The new model is known internally as SAI but will be renamed before it goes on sale and will be based on the next generation Prius, also being shown for the first time in Detroit. The Lexus though will be a plusher, more comfort orientated model with unique and sleeker styling. According to company sources it will bear some similarities to Toyota’s Concept X shown at the Geneva motor show last March. Most commentators wrongly believed this heralded the design of the next Prius but our sources indicated that it was really designed to showcase themes for the junior Lexus hybrid. The SAI is likely to get a more powerful version of the Prius’ hybrid powertrain, which will be mated to either a 2.0 or 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. At launch it will probably have a nickel-hydride battery, but be upgraded to lithium-ion technology by the end of 2010. Insiders have also admitted that the SAI was principally developed for the US market, however sources say that plans are now afoot to put it on sale over here as well. Lexus has been disappointed by the performance of the 3-series-rivalling IS saloon in Europe and now see the SAI as a good entry-level model for the global market, especially against a backdrop of high fuel costs. We expect the high-end hybrid will arrive in US showrooms by summer 2009, with European sales starting by early 2010. Link to article

i "peeped" the horn for me. In face i just "peeped" my horn about 15 mins ago at a stupid white van man who pulled out in front of me. The "peep" was used in conjunction with a number of expletives , something along the line of "you stuipid f*****g w****r" followed by violent fist waving out of the window.

im 23, had my car 3+ years now. Never had a negative comment. The IS doesnt exactly look like an old mans car IMO.

i always mention this is these types of thread, my advice would be to get your waterpump done at the same time. Its a matter of when, not if it will go. will save you having to fork out labour charges again, at prices similar to having you cambelt done. Makes sense imo to have it done whilst having you cambelt done.

quite a few of us have had brownpants moments with the floormats. I make sure my mat is pushed quite forward so that the pedals cannot get stuck. On the negative side is that you cant 'floor' the accelerator should you need to.

LOL at this thread. Ive found it quite amusing yet quite disturbing at the same time! At the end of the day its each to there own and as long as the individual is happy with there choice then all is good!, no need to force your opinion on others Tyger. I two am a fan of Apple products since being introduced to them a year or so ago, i now have a mac, ipod touch and will be looking to get an iPhone when my contract is up for renewal in September. Apple products are ideal for me, but not necessarily everyone else's cup of tea and that is fine! This is almost as bad as those who argue about the Xbox360 and PS3. Who gives a shyte, there both quality machines (for the record i have an Xbox 360 :P )

Wow, there are some young uns on here now making me feel old! Im 23 now, got my IS 3 years ago (cant believe it will be 4 years in November already!). I agree with others though, there is no point in trying to con the insurers as there will be only one winner and one loser in the end. I detest insurance companies with a passion! Sadly, I have to deal with them on a regular basis in my job and I cant help but think im being fleeced, but its one of the situations where you just have to pay up and get on with it.
