  1. The kit works well and has sorted out my camber and Castor issues... Recommended It does take a while to fit them ( took me 4 hours at home) but if you go somewhere with the proper equipment for pressing out the old bushes it'll surely take less... ( the DIY bushing removal yoke that comes in the kit ain't up to much, threaded bar got fecked up in no time :( ) Also you'll need to go to somewhere like WIM to set them up properly as it took my guy 1.5 hours to get it all perfect ... good luck
  2. AFAIK the Mini's use run-flats (BMW influence) that's why there wasn't a spare...
  3. do you only hear it when going very slow? could be one of the little retaining springs for the handbrake shoes is rubbing inside the disc...
  4. or buy some from Maz for £10-15 that fit perfectly and will be next weeks mod :winky: Who ? What? Where? cheers :)
  5. Maybe but i think the high temperatures in the engine bay effect the properties of the plastic over the years and makes them easier to break.... take mine for instance.... opened the bonnet one day to find it broken all by it's self :(
  6. There's heaps of Altezza's in Ireland now ... stick up a wanted ad on http://www.tezzaworld.com/forum/ some one will have them or know of a crashed Tezza ;) you can get new ones from Jap parts but they are silly money ...
  7. Quite common fault, i think it's the engine heat that causes them to break, you can get a new one from a Lexus dealer .... part no. has been posted up before, i'll have a look EDIT; 53455-53010 is the part no. cost around 15 pounds
  8. well they took awhile to arrive and customs hit me for 60 euro .... been in the boot for the last few weeks waiting to get a saturday that the "specialist" can put them on for me .... fingers crossed for this saturday
  9. Ditto. My 1st assumption was it would be a joke, but the narrator sounded suprisingly genuine! same here ... i believed it until he said the spider didn't build a web instead he built a hammock .. from there on it just gets sillier and sillier
  10. i remember a program on telly hosted by Clarkson, Basically he said it's size that counts when overtaking not speed ... so trucks rule he said because they believe in reincarnation that getting killed isn't a big deal, there was one scene when there was 20 cars following a car WITH LIGHTS down a dangerous mountain road.... twas mayhem... anybody else remember watching it... few years ago now though
  11. Mirror Or is it ??? http://www.break.com/index/absolutely-hila...rror-prank.html
  12. I got "normal" Bosch ones from Halfords and they are crap...:(
  13. Hi, what width and what is the offset ..... these important measurements are usually embossed on the inner side of the spokes ... ;)
  14. So from this discussion what you really need is an IS220D auto.... :) strange Lexus didn't do this already... My Brother drives a Merc 4X4 (M 320D auto 3lt turbo diesel with 220bhp with 500+nm of torque) when you floor that it pushes you almost into the back seats, from 0 -50 mph it's a 2 tonne monster but progress from there up ain't nothing exciting...
  15. 4 wheel laser alignment is not as good as it sounds, that will only line up the wheels.... you'll need to find a place that can measure "full geometry"... good luck :)
  16. :D139db ..... B) but because they're so loud i can't just use them without good cause or it'll get me killed ... have a blast now and ill have a listen lol :D can't ... last time i did that, everyone started looking out of the office windows .... wondering wheres the train
  17. ya it was alright.... that's why i've got 2 big ones shoved down the front ... 139db each ..... B) but because they're so loud i can't just use them without good cause or it'll get me killed ...
  18. Ya you're less likely to use your horn when you get old....
  19. over here we say "Hooted the sh!t out of 'em" ...
  20. Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load!
  21. Last census over here revealed that 100,000 UK citizens are now living in Ireland..... they've gone the wrong way, according to that report Spain is the place to go... Maybe they should circulate that report in Nigeria
  22. Ah ... then that is the problem, those tyres were designed for a warmer climate than we have over here so they're still "cold" and not gripping the way they were designed... I had the same issue when i got my Tezza as it had Dunlop Direzza's and although there was lots of thread left the back end was breaking away all the time.... Try Goodyear F1's and you won't know yourself ;)
