I had a 2 1/2 year old vectra which i had trouble getting rid of, ended up dropping the price alot...really annoying as i only had the thing for 2 months, expensive 2 months! :shutit: the joy of Vauxhall. Goodluck with the sale, hope you have more luck than i did, hope you find a nice Lex :)
  2. that was going to be my next question, if this is normal, where does it all go? I always top up using Halfords ready mix.
  3. After owning the car for 3 years I have noticed that my IS200 is starting to use the coolant, the level dropping, my oil and coolant is clean, no mayo. Its probably always been like it, I may just be taking notice now. Does anybody elses? do you have to top up and how often? This goes out to stock and tuned engines.
  4. not heard of it being stripped right down, i recon Monster Mat has done it at some point.
  5. Hi, Welcome to LOC Im at Saffron Walden, not too far away, will you be joining us at Santa Pod in the year? Good place to get some ideas.
  6. This is stuff that i have used to stick on my Skirts and Front corner spats... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/POLYURETHANE-CAR-BOD...1742.m153.l1262
  7. Hi Jamie, How are you? Could be the Clutch slipping.
  8. Sorry for the slow reply, Fronts are Prolex Groove and Dimples Rears are just Grooves.
  9. COD 4 is by far the best game, I got it a day before it was released and have been on it since, completed single player and thought the very final scene was a good finale. We have a pretty big clan at the moment, 3 of set it up and we got about 30 members now from all over the world :) Online play is just amazing, I have prestigeg 4 times and on level20 something now, Search and Destroy is the place to be. I think i have an addiction, its called COD4 :shutit:
  10. Hi all Brakes have been on a while now, so i would say there very 'bed-in', im very happy with there performance, they perform better when warm due to the pad compound (atleast i put it down to that) quiet and smooth breaking, still the wrong type of weather to really see what there up to... Thanks Dave :D
  11. Nice one Maz, Looks good, glad your happy with it. will give you a sprint at Santa Pod next time to see what the difference is between stock and s/c'ed If your brave enough!
  12. Would be good to see some pics. Which part of Essex are you?
  13. Hi Answer to number 1 should be about 14-16v (closer 16v) If i am wrong then im sure somebody will step in and put me right. Have you checked the acid level and strength of each cell? Aaron
  14. Hi Cho, Just read this. Sorry to hear this, a real ba***rd over christmas...Hope you get it sorted soon mate. Hope you have more luck in the new year. Aaron
  15. Merry Christmas guys, thanks for the card and gift...Also good work on the site :D
  16. From what I have read the brakes are easy to fit...basing on previous experience i didnt wanna mess it up...I got my local garage to do it for me along with new handbreak cables and handbreak pads.
  17. Just had my new Brake Discs fitted. Pads are currently bedding in so not had a chance to check out the stopping power quite yet, but already at this early stage I can feel they have a nice bite. Discs are 3G - Prolex New pads are Mintex Xtreme - Prolex As the pads bed in, I will report back. Hopefully these discs will not "warp" as I have got through discs on this car. Thanks to Dave at Prolex for sorting this out for me :) Aaron
  18. what makes you suggest that the prob shaft is vibrating? what does it feel like? reason i ask is i have not heard of this, my IS200 is on 130k and as far as i know original prop shaft and fittings...no probs, all i have is the smallest amount of clutch judder.
  19. These are being fitted to my car soon. If they are as good as the old Prolex brakes then its worth while, The old ones had a good initial bite and I never got them to fade when driving hard.
  20. I have a set of the new Prolex 3G/Mintex pads waiting to go on my IS200, once fitted i will get pics up and let you know what there like. MOT wont fail on warped disc's, so long as they stop you its a pass. (thats what i have always been told)
  21. Followed a Silver Lexus Altezza with full TRD kit, high Altezza spoiler and lowered to Tesco Bar Hill.
