  3. i have this brake set-up bedding in as booklert suggests. braking from 30 to stop should be easing on and off brakes 2-3times braking from 60 to stop should be 4-6times. i did the best that i could to this and brakes seems fine, even in bedding in time the brakes felt nice and sharp, have had them fitted to my car for 6/8months and very happy with them although a little more dust than standard mintex pads. not screechy :winky:
  4. Hi, Mine did the same a few weeks ago, posted on here with come back of possible Coil Pack or 02 Sensor. Car was running fine, economy exactly the same. I re-set the ECU and it has not come back on, I would say a good 3 weeks ago. I would say the ECU was having a 'moment'.
  5. agreed, a couple i would :winky: hate it, always hate them but normally end up watching the last week :shutit:

  15. hi, my crankshaft puley cracked when my cambelt was being replaced on my IS200, (due to bolts being done up F****ng tight) it also works as a counter balence, cost a bit of money but pretty easy to change i think (garage did it)
  16. Been to see Tony at WIM and very happy with the set up, sorted out tracking (with straight steering wheel) and camber, then had my FREE fine tune (just to make sure it was all good after a few months)...will be visiting again for a geo service.
  17. No pics but i had. MK2 Ford Fiesta MK2 VW Golf VW Corrado VR6 Vauxhall Vectra B (owned 1 month) Lexus IS200 - current car
  18. The clunking could just be the front brake pads moving in the calipers, when do you get the clunks? as far as the unstable driving goes, it does indicate shocks, is it worse with people in the back? i had tyres as you described, got new ones when i got my geo done at WIM.
  19. Done an ECU re-set, taken for a 10mile test drive an all seems back to normal, will keep an eye on it and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
  20. Ok, thanks for the reply, I will try a re-set. Engine is running fine so i may rule out coil pack, i dont know what an O2 sensor does. What a great day! sometimes its easier to stay in bed as my girlfriends car got 2 punctures at the rear this morning too. Many Thanks
  21. Hi I have done a quick search but cant find anything. Car has been fine, recently had MOT with no probs, Get in my car this morning and Engine Light is On and Traction Control Light is Flashing. Pressing the TRC button makes no difference, I dont want to reset the ECU until I hear from somebody that has done that (dont want to hide the problem and make it untracable) Can anybody help?
