  1. it is located within the fuel tank on the bottom of the pump there is no requirement to change it
  2. yes, a lightweight flywheel without any other engine mods is pretty pointless really
  3. i dont know if the traction worked or not, but even if it did it wouldn't be very adaptable to a considerable power increase. i chose to run Racelogic traction control in mine, but eventually removed it becusse i didnt really need it, the car drove very predictable, but it wasnt really ever used in the rain....so the tachometer worked fine on mine, even after i swapped to the 180mph TTE clocks the only thing that didnt work, and thats because i didn't want it connecting back up was the aircon even my fuel gauge worked fine
  4. Noel, you may want to have a test drive before you set your heart on one...........

  11. yup, i sure do know whats involved, your preaching to the converted there buddy :winky: hence why if your going to the effort...then the best options are, either get an IS300 in the first place and use that GE, or obtain a GTE
  12. why....why go through the effort of fitting a GE, when you can fit at GTE...? both are very hard to do....and complicated. explain your reasons?
  13. if you want to fit a GE engine, get an is300 either way GE or GTE will involve quite a bit of work....the electrics however will be a pain in the *****
  14. put some decent proper winter tyres on, and it will drive fine
  15. will not fit the is20, and does not fit UK or RHD is300
  16. fill it back up with coolant again first.... then try again, pull out the spark plugs and check the ends, ....see if they are wet
  17. trust me, its easier to remove the dash then cut up the aluminium pipes
  18. to be honest there market driven, there is no reason why there not the same price or close to equivalent aged /mileage IS200's
