    Hi Hugh £874 for a new mark4 screen + £125 for the chrome strip that goes along the top , A mark 3 screen will fit but there is a slot in the black section on the bottom to show the vin number that needs blacking out before fitting.

Get an lpg conversion & sell the Skoda it will work out cheaper to run than 2 cars & give you an easy average of 40mpg equivalent 35 around heavy town traffic & up to 55 on the run if you don't push it.     Hi Chele Auto electrics at 361 High road Ilford 02085535605 would recon the alternator for you for around £80 if the price of the new alternator is a bit to rich. I have used them in the past & my mate (mobile mechanic uses them on a regular bassis.)

    £1090 sounds too cheap. I have hana injectors on mine as they are better than the omvl ones. Profess also give a life time parts & labour warranty on their systems. So if something wears out its replaced for free. Mine has run fine now for 12.000 miles & am happy with the install & more importantly the service I receive from profess. I would advise either Adams Dad or Profess to do the install. if you go down the profess route ask for hana injectors.

    At 70 my revs are 2100 in 5th & 2800 in 4th so if its doing 2800 it is in 4th gear.

    Just lifts a bit so you don't get a boot full of water when its chucking it down.

    I found my 2004 430 had more road & wind noise than the 400 one of the reasons I went back to a 400.

    At the moment it can't be converted due to the direct injection system, Lpg kits will be developed when the manufacturers release the timing settings. Keep an eye out on AC stags website for when a kit has been developed for this model.

    I had a yellow & black one in the early 80's . Great fun wheelie machine bet the ls 400 is more economical though.

    Hi Adam I drove my last one for 60k not useing flashlube my mate done 145k with no flash lube & was told it was not required when I had this one converted. Are you just being safe or should I really have one fitted, Mark

    Bargain at £30 ghreat for demisting the screen now winters on the way. Use it or loose it.

    How much were these wishbones from ebay as the cheap china ones are rubbish. If they are the cheap ones then there lies your your problem .

    Usually lambda censor or control valve (hard to get at) if its a dealer & he says it can be switched off agree with him if it comes back on he will repair it. As known faults at point of sale are not covered.

    I thing they look unique , stylish & certainly luxurious. I like Marmite so I like the sc430 you could tar the Morgan with the same brush or the Panther J72 & I love both of them.

    One of the best cars Mazda has ever & still makes is wholly based on the Lotus Elan namely the MX5 You leran something new every day that's why they are a hoot to drive.
