Hi. what about it? I don't think I'll be fitting original Lex parts if that's what you mean. I want to improve handling the of car. So I wont fit the same rubbish again. thanks. Jeff it's an option on mk4's, so far as i know it won't work on mk3's well owiung to the lighter weight upsettign the dynamics. I assume you realise you'll ruin the ride by stiffening up the suspension and if you need to stiffen it for handling i'd love to know how your drivign your mk3 cause mines got 220,600 on original suspension and it handles fine, the limit won't be any higher as you'll still be in the same car on the same tyres with the same anti-roll bars etc just stiffer springs making the car not so nice to drive.

Take tio back to dealer again and get him to find someone who knows how it works, that many techeis should know somewhere between them

Sounds like somethign si broken somewherew, posibly at a oin or inside it's insulation, probably as it goes round a bend, wires get stiff and brittle with age. Is it a NEW alternator or a new to you alternator, either way get it checked it might be at fault and if it is new you can get a new one free. Have you got an alram/immobliser? is it workign correctly as that maybe the cause of the iognition stuff not working correctly.

if you put it into D the gear change would of been from 1st to 2nd gear. Most autos drive off like this especially when cold, it's called creep. You can engine brake instead of keep hitting the brakes by using 3/2/1 depending on your speed and the gradient.

Me too but unless i wanted a mk1 or a mk4 (too old and too expensive respectively) I had to get a lexus with an aftermarket alarm, as almost if not all of them had one fitted by Lexus new :(

If it's a mk4 i'm sure you can get a much better deal then the scrappage allownece, i'd buy it like a shot for one

Glad tyou fixed it if you have a bvlack fob with two buttons one red one black then you have a mk3 with a Scorpion alarm. :)

That inspired me too - plus the episode of Top Gear where James May bought one. :) Same here i've always liked the LS build quality and spec/performance wasn't till isaw that tp gear episode i ever imagined they'd deprciated so far, was looking at scorpio cosworths before which are sometimes actually more expnive dispite the rust...

Gave up and bopught soem 5mm spacers off bay, fitted ther wheels yesterday but was dark by time i finished so photo i took came out crap as it's basically my number plate with a hitn fo car behind it So if you get wheels/tyres off Alloywheels.com/Rochford tyres hope everythign gores well cause there support/customer service sucks. :)

Slip it into netural and stamp on the "clutch" I've been doing pizza delivery int he snow not had any problems beyond moany customers...

they've had to remove the top engine cover as the injectors where in the way, i'll try toi take a photo for you. They tok a week to fit and programme the system.
