  1. Everything apart from TC works on mine - and that is with loosing 2 cylinders which really threw the tacho out!! I have Racelogic TC, but its off most of the time TBH.
  2. Just do the clutch mate save your money. Nothing wrong with dual mass FW's IMHO.

    Diff

Any rear diff for the IS200 manual.
  4. My neighbour has a pair on his M5, he loves them - front and back wheels were fitted with them.
  5. So long as you have an OBD2 port (mine is under the steering assy.) it should work.
  6. Rough guide price was posted up today, really your best calling SPC then they can tell you exactly what you get and what you need.
  7. You only need to add the injectors for the magic 300+BHP, so not at all bad for the price. The bonus is, it is like the TTE SC option, it is completely removable and swappable to another car, so can be sold on separately should you want to change your car and get some of the money back, unlike engine swaps. The IS200 is a very good car at 240BHP - at 300BHP is is a completely different animal. I know 1st hand and love every drive out in mine.
  8. The lock surround is about £40+vat and they come painted already, very easy to swap over if you have a 10mm socket and extension. I broke mine early on this year fitting the rear view camera!!
  9. You need to make sure your breaks are up to the extra power, a set of uprated anti roll bars (ARB's) would be a very wise investment, get decent tyres on, maybe lower the car to assist with handling etc........
  10. If it worked in your old car then it will work in your IS200. Only use it if it is in good condition, check all the wires for faults. I.e. ensure the insulation is not damaged etc. Are you changing the speakers?
  11. Turbo all the way. No point in messing around with superchargers, several companies have tried to get proper power from a SC and failed, so when you want more power you have got to go for a turbo anyway - do the job properly 1st time around.
  12. Done loads of miles now, can't seam to stop driving!! The oil temp is a clear 20C lower than before. There is no black soot from the exhaust now, could be because of the new inlet manifold? The water temp is so low it takes ages for the stock water temp gauge to start to move and never goes past 1/4 on the gauge, before it was running over 1/2 on the gauge, and the engine bay is substantially cooler. I will take a look at the actual temp tonight - need to plug the Apexi hand controller back in. The engine no longer hits the power steering ram on right hand bends, all vibrations have been cured. All oil leaks have been cured. No longer rubs on speed ramps. Oil smell has gone. Gars slip into place and reverse is easy - before the wife struggled to get reverse it was that tight. Things are looking great - heres me running away to touch some wood. I can't thank Wayne, Ike, Jamie and the other lads at SPC Horsham enough for this vast improvement. I love my Lex again. SHE IS NOT GOING TO BE SOLD
  13. there are a few turbo conversions - without the annoying whine of a supercharger.
  14. LOL at Bazza!! But the fact remains his car is as he says - the 330 BHP one is even better. Don't believe it just take one out for a drive.
  15. yea its fantastic - can't even tell its now a 4 cylinder and not a 6 - its that smooth!!
  16. Proof you wanted then proof you shall get. Although I never said way over 300 I said 300 was the target.
  17. The spoiler is very difficult to remove from the bootlid - it's often been said that it's simpler to swap bootlids with someone else who wants the spoiler than remove it. Normally the third brake light on the parcel shelf is removed when the spoiler is fitted, no idea why it hasn't been. I think the LED brakelight looks quite good, but get rid of the standard light though :) Thats what i am doing with mine, bought a new boot lid and having it sprayed. Roughly £150 cheaper than just swapping spoilers!! Gone from a lip spoiler to a RS200 one.
  18. You would have to call them on that one!! SPC: 01403 257257 Have a chat with Phil/Wayne.
  19. They have currently one IS200 at 328.9 BHP on standard internals - but larger injectors and 1Bar boost and one sitting at 242 with normal injectors. Both are proving reliable with no problems and 1500 miles + over 55 dyno runs on the 328.9BHP one, this car also has 100,000 miles on the clock!!. Link to You Tube video of the car in action on the dyno Link It is going to be a bolt on option and IMHO FAR better option than the supercharger route. I would post a link to the build thread but that site is blocked on this forum.
  20. If you want to get more power then have a chat with SPC Horsham. They have just about finished the re-build of my 3S-GTE powered IS200 after the 1st lot to do the job made a right mess of the install. 301 BHP, at the moment probably go for 320 BHP?? They (SPC) have also got a couple of Turboed IS200's with STANDARD internals running in-excess of 300BHP (the 1st one is 328.9BHP) these cars are proving reliable also, so before you go down the engine swap route give them a call - you will be surprised.
  21. Worst car: Nissan Bluebird DIESEL :yack: :yack: :msn-cry: :yack: Best car was the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 2WD now the 3S200 GTE Lexus :D
  22. HKS every time mate, you pay for quality.
