  2. i was only thinking this yesterday! he's probably in a red light district somewhere in middle europe sourcing all the good tunes, beer, and women to bring back for our next LOC meet (hopefully) :)
  3. not yet they've not uploaded Reading yet, i drove past them when they were doing it a few weeks back, so i know exactly where i should be on the map when it goes live
  4. there are a few peeps that have retrimmed there interior (and its a job on my list to do) and it does look really good with a bit of time and patience. for your theme which bits are you looking to change to the aluminium or carbon styles, i have seen carbon fibre door inserts for the window switches but not much else unfortunately, give us a bit more detail on what you were thinking of changing and we'll try and hepl you out a bit more :)
  5. welcome to the club mate, nice to see another 300 in the club :)
  6. 300's are even rarer tho, only time i've ever seen any others are at the meets! i get bored of seeing 200's sorry :)
  7. The average caravan does not spend a great deal of time on the road. MOT wise there is not much to check...brakes,lights,bearings,hitch. If you want to tax caravans then what about horse trailers, goods trailers, in fact ALL trailers. The wear on roads caused by caravans is minimal. but then the average time i spend on the road dont tally up to £210 quids worth of yearly road tax either so why should we all pay so much when i only do like 8 miles a day? tax everything or nothing at all simples! we all use the roads and for those pulling a trailor caravan etc they put extra strain on the car lorry pulling it causing it to use more fuel and become less economical so surely they should be charged more for slowing down all the other traffic or charge them a country wide congestion charge if you over a certain length of a standard car!
  8. i have the same problem with the passenger side, but not brave enough to stick it in an oven :(
  9. thats alot...hope mines last that long asi mate i think you read it wrong its only on 30k not 300k
  10. have a read of this linky and also on page 3 of the thread lists the lot of engines and if they are intererence or not, http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...54124&st=40
  11. there was a thraed posted not long ago which stated what were interference and non-interference engines but even then there was still some confusion give me a few minutes and ill try and find it for ya mate.
  12. so whats the start date on your licence and what is the expiry date does it total to the whole 10 years??
  13. ok i understand the doctors note bit from the back, but i am confused by what you have said about the date that the photocard expires on is the day before your birthday on the 10th year that you have held the photocard, as my birthday is 5th of May, my licence was issued on 01/08/2001 and expires 06/06/2010. so surely if it was a 10 year licence shouldn't mine be valid till 01/08/2011, are they conning me out of 14 months worth usage?
  14. i've got 5 days 2 months and a year before mine needs an update, and also i've noticed that it started on 01/08/01 and expires 06/06/2010 which means im not getting a full 10 years from my licence? how does that work??? one other thing section 11 on the back of the card my dates go upto 04/05/2053? this is a day before my 70th birthday (only 44 years to go) is this a plan to stop people over 70 years old from driving??? can someone explain this for me please.
  15. it was like this one but it had far more cameras on it than this example
  16. i saw a black pugeot driving around Reading the other day and on the roof it had loads of cameras attached to it like a tree, it was unmarked apart from the obvious camera's on the roof.. so was it DVLA checking tax discs, mobile speed camera's, or one of those silly google street view machines? or something else? has any one seen these before??? What ever it was it made my Valentine one go crazy
  17. im sure that it just pops out the frame, just hope someone else can clear it up
  18. the whole seat clips out mate it is quite tight so you do need a little bit of force on pulling it up start in the corners and lift, hope this helps
