  1. i think you should start it up stevie the sooner the better, summers coming!!
  2. id be very interested in getting some of these im getting tired of using the oem prop. so hopefully we can get a deal going with someone to bump the price down a bit. :)
  3. yeah some are pretty terible i had one on my st24 couldnt get any radio signal at all, there is a certain type that is much better its a bit expensive but i cant remember what type of metal they used for it or where it came from but they are available from somewhere, sorry for the vagueness.
  4. woz when have you known anything from lexus to be inexpensive, they would take our right arms if they could cash them in at the banks! but i think im going to have to sell my kidney in order to get a service done soon
  5. or you could get a colour coded richbrook aerial or similar that has a grub screw so people cant yoink it again!
  6. its only a matter of time!!! what we need is a skidoo button that turn the wheels into tracks tranformers styleeee!
  7. well i had loads of not so nice fun this morning, the car just sat there spinning i thought i was going to get stuck completely as the snow had compacted at the front like a snow plough, where i had pushed it all i got to a tiny tiny raise in the road not quite a hill and that was it couldnt get any traction, then it started slidding backwards!!! i got scared then. managed to get the car from slidding backwards backed it into someones drive then set off to try and park it back at my house but couldnt even get back into my road so again had to turn round with it slidding all over the place, luckily managed to stay clear of the kerbs so the alloys are still ok, so then i had to turn round again and try going down the road instead i then slid onto the adjoining road luckily some matey had seen me and slowed down enough so i could continue sliding round the corner, then i just about made it to my mates house where ive left the car with 2 nearly bald tyres now! and also a delivery driver has just crashed into the warehouse next to mine and hes completely mashed the wing off it, oops!!
  8. yeah this happens on mine but it only happens when im sideways, tbh i think the beep is a bit distracting as it distracts me when im trying to concentrate on where the car is going.
  9. it cant be that cold in new zealand though can it when australia been having heat waves?? Lol yeah it's summer in New Zealand at the moment. yeah its alright for some it must be our turn for a heat wave soon ( will next week do for everyone :) )
  10. it cant be that cold in new zealand though can it when australia been having heat waves?? tez_man you could always try booting it down the hill before you get to the bottom then there wont be no smoke when you boot it on the flats lol. also how big is your exhaust as with going down the hill it maybe containing exhaust gases and then expelling them when it can ie. when it goes flat and you push all the excess gases out when you get going again~~???? hope that makes sense to ya, but im probably completely wrong :)
  11. id ask for immediate payment, hope you get it all mate just think of all the shiney new things you can get!!
  12. i dont think its classed as undertaking if for example your in the left lane in a dual carriage way and the right lane becomes slower as you are supposed to use the road in front if it is clear so as not to cause both lanes to come to a near complete stop, do it with caution keep your eyes open and just be careful of motors coming from the right lane. and i think it should only be classed as undertaking if you were to be doing it at stupid speeds for the traffic conditions by weaving in and out of traffic in all 3 lanes.
  13. would there be any way you can combine the led ones to the original fogs so you could have the best of both?? have them on separate switches so its like half light leds full light leds and bulbs? hope you understand what im on about, its getting late
  14. i wouldnt of thought you'd have to change the coolant unless you have to take either the radiator off, or the pump and only then as it would of needed draining, i've not had to do this but it sounds logical enough
  15. is there a difference between the aztec fire red and the scarletti red????? and can 300 owners join in on this one, too late i voted red anyways :)
  16. with it being an auto you have to make sure the gearbox is in park mode before the ignition switch will turn.
  17. sorry to hear about this mate, hope your insurance sorts it out quickly for you and gets you back on the road asap!
  18. hi mate welcome to loc, go to your local lexus dealer and ask them to run a diagnostic check they should do it for free, and they will be able to tell you whats wrong with it, then you can either pay there and then, or source parts from elsewhere probably for cheaper! the problem is likely to be a sensor as the cars probably been sitting still for a while, so you just need to find out which sensor it is. hope this helps mate the o2 sensor throws ALL the lights on
  19. go to ace cafe on the 20th and im sure with all our ears we'll be able to pin point it
  20. could it be one of the springs that are attached to the back of the steering wheel maybe??? have you taken all the surrounds of the dash behind the wheel off to have a look at it yet? just thinking you may of got a spring that was not sprung properly and its now misshaped or lost some strength in its coil so bounces about more than it should from after you adjusted the position of the wheel? just a random thought that could be worth checking.
  21. your also lucky its under warranty, cos luxus wanted to charge me £300 to replace it, thats why i did it myself and got a sensor off ebay for about £60!
  22. You may be right! Ill pack the whole toolkit in case! :D Thanks, Greig just hide the stanley blades and velcro and use the other tools to get the seat out!
  23. sounds like you could have the same problem, plug some diagnostics in and it will tell what the fault is.
