    Help

Sorry to hear that, i am not a enginer so all i can tell you is yes it can, once it as thawed out check water leval and see if it as dropped, if water as dropped you could have blown the rad or crack the block or popped a corplug, if water leval is ok then start engine and warm it up keep an eye on water leval and check for leaks anywhere, you may have been looky but its been bloody cold this week, if unsure take it in garage for a pressure check, sorry to be so blunt but i been there many years back, I hope you have not dammaged anything,
  6. hi.if it anything like the gs300, then yes you can lock your keys in the car, ( unless there in ignition) mine locks it self after about a minute IF the boot or back doors are chut last, as long as you chut front doors last it dont lock itself, what ever you do dont put keys in boot when you get your shopping out and shut it,
  7. Glad your sorted pitty you didnt live closer my garage got mine reconditioned £100 in 24hrs, anyway glad you are sorted
  8. check your wheels first just to make sure it is a caliper, not to sure where my garage sent it off to to get mine recond, where in wales are you are you "are you near telford"
  9. well i got garage to take mine off and they sent it away for recondition cost me £100, but if your going to do it yourself thats if it is one of your calipers then check on here i have seen somewhere on here about stripping one down, but sorry i have never done one on a lexus, hope you sort it out
  10. I had the same problem a few months back, mine was a seized brake caliper, jack it up and spin each wheel to see if one of your brakes are binding
  11. I had a set of Yoyos T1R fitted just over 12 months ago and get no road sound grip very well and I had no problem in snow last year
  12. I take it that no one as used colour balming restorer?
  13. Ah, I see. Should the traction control work in reverse, as I atempted to reverse on some really soggy grass on a holiday site this year, but it just kept spinning up? Well we had quite a bit of snow last year in Telford, I had no problem driving even passing cars that was stuck in snow but I did have new tyres on a fews months earlier ( Toyo T1R) and they have been brill I cant fault them, at the end of the day it all upto the driver, I used my switches accorded to road conditions and using gears also and only problem I had was reversing on to my drive which is a slight incline, IT all depends on weather condtion and road condition at the time and the idiot in front of you.
  14. HI, I haven ever used snow chains to much trouble putting them on ? I have had all big heavy cars rear drive apart from the sabb, and have my gs300 for 3 years now and as long as you keep your revs down and your traction conrol off and use low gear where needed you will get where your going, if your in dout put a couple of bags of sand in boot , I have no problem just drive slower over reving just dont get you anywhere . happy driving Don

Hi, Need a little bit of help and advice, I bought some leather wipes from halfords a few months ago and used it regular on steering wheel but notest today that they have taken the colour out in one place,so I have been looking at leather balm colour match on the web which looks good. 19. When i said earlier SHE , what i am saying is all my cars have been females, i-e the babe/ the old lady / the granny "SHEs a lovely car" i love my car and treat her like a lady So all you ownes that name the cars male names, if someone was to say to you where is your car, would say / its in garage or hes in garage, i would say shes in garage.
  20. I think its more likely to be mirrow motor corroding due to lack of movement, they need to be moved regular to stop this happening, just sit in car and try moving them and see if you can start them going once they move it will start to clean the motor shafts and then get them moving a few times, if this dont work i think its a mirrow strip down to get to motor and i ant done one on a lexus only on my old granny and i had to brake glass to get at motor to use wd40, but as yours works sometimes! you may get lucky and free it up by keep trying to adjust
