i have found the wheels im gonna buy, only prob is they are out of stock for the next month!!! aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. Fox RS5, £1045 a set of four! but i can get 20% off them at the mo. I think they will suit the car loads seing as they have a classy look to them, also have a stainless rim with a deep dish. i am gonna get the 18" ones in 225 40 18 tyre combo. so should look pretty sweet now i have my calipers sorted. what do ya think. also if you knwo anywhere that has a set can you please send me a pm as im desperate to be cruising with a set of these. Am also gonna have that centre cap removed and a lexus logo in its place to bling them a bit more.

MDB 1708 pads. Aparently they are also for the supra range???? Oh well they fit like a glove, stop the car. if i need to re add that shim i will wait till they have worn down a bit then slip them in oh and they were in a red box, £39

well i just fitted my new mintex front pads, very nice they are too, altho i had to remove the smallest shim from each pad (the thin one between outer shim and pad) as the new pads must be 1mm thicker than the lexus pads. it would not let me swing the caliper closed until i removed them. Other than that they are pretty good and are bedding in fast. Also got a chance to apply my chrome lexus logo stickers to my black calipers and laquer them. very cool. makes the wheels look better! i totaly agree with speed cameras outside of schools, hospitals etc but im fed up of being a cash cow to the govenment. The ones on the A2 are totaly excessive. To make it worse on monday night kent police had their little hit squads out (in adition to their cameras), i turn a quiet corner to find 14, yes 14 police officers making me pull over. They decided to stop and search me, and after having 14 police officers go over my car they decided to give me a lecture on paying road tax etc??? i have a brand new 12 months licence?. So police the are wasting money paying for 14 officers to waste peoples time on a street corner, so why do we not think that they are making plenty from their cameras! But with the cameras they have also caused a lot of accidents from what i have seen. i have seen about 5 mini pile ups when someone reacted to a camera on the a2, i used it every day on a bike for about a year. Perhaps the police are trying to make work for themselves? In conclusion, speed cameras are a good idea, just they were put in the hands of people with ££££ and statistics in their minds. And as we all know statistics can prove anything!! so screw cameras and implement their use properly to protect and not to fleece! i will get off my soap box now, thank you. lol

as long as they keep the V8, that sweet styling and those headlights im sold, i love it! lets make them make this car

i think it will be perfect for your setup. They standard batery is underpowered in my opinion. An extra 25% starting power is worth it and it means the car has plenty of reserve power for much needed electronic works. Plus if you dont like it then you havent spent £££££ but im sure you will notice the difference

ok well i just watch on discovery "a car is born" and in it they slapped a brand new chevy V8 which was about £4000. Now these are quite simple engines and they do sound mighty fine. Just wondering if it would be a feasable idea to consider having one "dropped" under the hood seeing as a GS430 engine will cost me ££££££££££££ to have fitted. Could be nice to have that sheer V8 grunt under the right foot for a change. any ideas???? (positive ones please scorpion!)

just got myself a set of is200 pads from mintex and they were only £39. And the pads are the same for quite a few cars, including the gs300 and is300 etc. Car companies love sticking standard items on multiple cars. But if my memorey serves me right the UK spec supra twin turbo had bigger brakes than the jap spec because they couldnt get it legal here without them??? Wonder if the altezza had a similar thing, needing bigger brakes to cope with the extra power?

well my new calcium one has a guarentee that say it will not need charging for a minimum of 5 years, and if it ever fails then i get a new one straight away for free! Not bad for £60. My old toyota battery just suddenly died one day, started gettting funny then just gave up hope. it had just about 400 cold granking amps, and the new one has 525 cold cranking amps. before my headlights used to dim on idle but not anymore!

well go to halfords and for £60 you can get an uprated calcium battery, bonus is that they are not affected at all by the cold! and that they have another 100 cold cranking amps over the stock battery. And it comes in at the same price as one of the standard batteries. I have been running one for about 3 months now and it starts perfectly every time. no stutters at all. definately go with it

ok, well i have heard about sets of custom spacers that have new stud patterns in them that can be custom made. Normaly its to conver 4 stud to 5 stud config, but with the fact that you already have a 5 stud config that would mean that it would be easier, plus it will space the wheel out that extra 10mm! cheaper for sure, no new discs etc. just a bolt down spacer with new studs

i can totaly recomend palm springs in california, such a great place, feels realy safe there too, definately compared to los angeles. Lots of good restaurants, gold courses, can be standing in 40 deg celcis then decide to go ski-ing in 30 mins! Only bad point is 14hr flight to los angeles then a taxi plane to palm springs. but totaly worth it

I still feel realy good about the look on my bosses face when i gave him the letter. he sent me a personal email yesterday apologising for getting ****** off, turns out he was jelous. He had been bringing in a letter of resignation every week for 5 months and has never had the bottle to hand it in! i feel sorry for him realy. He has a 4 month old child who crys when she sees him coz she doesnt know who he is, now that is truely a sad thing. I dont see the point in letting work ruin your life

well the strange thing is it was a french company! i did over 60hrs of unpaid overtime last month. and i never opted out of the 48hr week. but if they dont pay me my money this month a constructive dismissal case will be launched!

HE HE i had the best day today, handed in my letter of resignation to my company today after a few days off sick due to a toenail removal. the time made me realise that its not a good thing working a 60+ hour week. They let me leave work there and then! no need to work my notice. Altho i also just was given a new position with another company as a Jr contract manager for 40% more money! sweet as hell, dont have to start till the 19th. so i shall be spending the coming week down at the golf course, and polishing my car on full pay. hehehehehe. So if anyone is bored give me a shout, lol
